It's better than everything else. Ever. Including the large club in later souls games. It's a titan. The moveset is a beast and it's bloody light as well.

On a whim I reinstalled Dark Souls 2 yesterday. Maybe I’ve been spoiled by the DS1 Remaster, but it looked… really off somehow. The gameplay was fine, but the UI when paused wasn’t how I remember it at all. Reminded me of a Capcom Resi game for some reason.
Anyway I never finished DS2, my save was 113 hours long and stuck in Iron Keep near some angry blue dwarves. Not sure I’ll ever complete it now, what with Elden Ring around the corner and DS3 looking much nicer as a second Souls option. Ah well.
Edit- it wasn’t 113 hours, it was lv113. Only 44 hours…

Just remembered I left things at the very end of DS3... still haven't finished my fight with Slave Knight Gael. Feels like I should or I'm not Elden Ring worthy.

Managed to beat Manus on my first try. Level 93 fully upgraded black iron armor set, crest shield and black knight sword. Probably not that impressive, but I'm still proud.
How do you kill that stupid lake dragon, though? It doesn't seem to want to land.

Don't know if you're aware but there are multiple endings determined by your actions after you beat Gwyn If I had known that, I definitely would have gone for the other ending first time Spoiler is a nod to how to get the other ending, nothing about what it is |
