Isn't the Great Hollow also one of the Titanite Chunk farm places? Think there's 5-6 Crystal Lizards in there. Yeah and some chunks sittng around various points |

You wouldn't wish resting at the lake bonfire without a lordvessel on anyone... I'm so glad I turned around my first time playing - luckily those big-eyed newts were the scariest enemies I encountered and scared me right out of the tree. |

Very much enjoyed the Great Hollow banter from the past couple of pages, well done all round. I missed a couple of items but I've made it to the bottom, killed the hydra, joined the covenant and donated 10 scales without really thinking about it. Then I realised I should have used them to upgrade Priscilla's Dagger instead. Ah well...
Now on to Tomb Of Giants, which I've already completely cleared out up to the orange fog gate, so hopefully shouldn't be too much of a pain getting back there now that it's gone.

I didn't fall to my death on the way there, but I did get hopelessly lost and had to deal with a load of skelly dogs that could have probably been avoided.
On to Oolacile now. The walkthrough video series I've been using only has 3 videos left out of 35, so I must be nearly done! But I never beat Manus on playthrough 1 and I'm not giving up this time so... could be a while yet.

I rolled a new character last night after lots of smoke and drink in the aim to see if a black Knight halberd would drop at the start.
It didn't, and also it was stupidly hard / I have not played for a long time. Fucking stupid drakes!
Anyway, got to the bonfire near the Knight again with another character. I might consume all my humanity (all 4) to increase the chance of it dropping.
It's not going to drop is it.
