Is the Balder side sword hard to get? I usually have dozens of them. But I also usually farm the Balder knights in Sen's fortress.

Is the Balder side sword hard to get? I usually have dozens of them. But I also usually farm the Balder knights in Sen's fortress. The drop rate is pretty low, which is compounded if you want to get it in the Parish as you have no Covetous Gold Serpent Ring and probably very little soft humanity |

I got the BSS first playthrough playing “normally” and used it until a black knight dropped the halberd which I liked way more for my hiding behind a shield play style. I didn’t realise they were that rare

Took quite a few attempts, and I had to switch tactics and go with Havel's ring and beefier armour (still <25% encumbered), but eventually I was dodging almost every attack and healing in the very small windows he allowed.
I tried the golden tracer / silver tracer combo for a bit, I like the moveset. But I've got too used to having a shield for blocking, and I kept cartwheeling off ledges or down lift shafts to avoid hits.

20k door done. Butterfly done. Fucked up kicking lautrec off the edge and had to fight him proper. That was hard as have hardly leveled yet but the twat is done.

I couldn't get the angle right with the fireworks. Managed to kill one dog so went in with that. Fucked it. Went back again and just went straight in, nearly did it but fucked it.
I might have to level endurance a bit to be able to block for a second to get my spacing right. Annoying!
