I just signed up for broadband and you get a Apple TV 4K with 3 months free as part of the deal. Worth using the thing or better off just selling?

It does a good job, it has everything you’d want in it and it works. I guess you could sell and use the built in software in your tv or use a firestick if you want to make yourself £50-100 from selling it.

Just finished Black Bird / The Falcon’s Tale where convicted drug dealer Taron Egerton is given the chance to commute his sentence by gaining the trust of another inmate and revealing the location of the buried bodies. It’s superb, with a great script, acting and a real weight to it. Maybe a wee bit rushed at the end, but you won’t want to spend more than 6 hours with some of these lot. Very highly recommended. Going to try Slow Horses next For anyone with Audible, the audiobook of Black Bird is included for free at the moment. Slow Horses is great too. Defending Jacob is also good, they seem to be doing well with their crime shows. |

I think he'd have to be living in a parallel universe to not know anything about Ted Lasso.  Anyway, amongst others Central Park, Tehran and Black Bird are superb, and Pachinko will eventually become my favourite show of all time if future seasons continue the quality of the stunning first (it's got at least one more in the pipeline). |

I also liked Foundation, Trying, Home, Defending Jacob and The Morning Show. Bad Sisters and For All Mankind are supposedly good as well. Invasion was probably the most boring show I ever watched.

We finished The Shining Girls last night. Excellent standalone series and you can't go wrong with Elizabeth Moss for this kind of role. Jamie Bell can be a creepy mofo as well.
Murder attempt survivor finds impossible links to other historical murders while her mental health seemingly unravels - or does it?
Leans into scifi more than I had anticipated but it's a cool concept. Don't know if it makes perfect sense with hindsight but I'm not going to overanalyse.

Can someone with ATV check if there's a movie on there for me please? Tempted to get a 7 day free trial to watch it and JustWatch says it is, but the actual Apple TV website returns nothing. So not sure.
The movie is "Rounders".

Mythic Quest should be watched I logged on to Apple TV today to confirm my suspicion I should get rid of it as I've barely watched anything in 6 months. Watched the first 3 episodes of Mythic Quest and yeah I'm in, it's good. Looks like I am keeping my sub for a bit. Also, Season 2 Ted Lasso : when? Wasn't it supposed to be out before Christmas? |
