I managed to catch a fish! :-)

Poms returns really dimish at L3 or 4 so I usually push the main damage source up to that as soon as possible, then into a secondary and then back into the primary. There is generally one boon that I never upgrade, like Athenas dash or something. I only really want the invincibility, I dont care how much damage it does because it will never be enough to be worth upgrading.

Same with boons, too. If you try to stick with a primary god and one secondary, you increase the chances of legendaries and duo boons.

Basically, as a rule of thumb, decide what your main attack is and pile into that as much as possible and then into a secondary support ability.

Depends which boons you pick up. If I get Zeus or maybe Poseidon cast early doors, I tend to build around that but will treat most others as a secondary.

Some of the ones that seem bad are pretty good for the bow that lets you load casts into it. Aphrodite's cast is shit normally but loaded into the bow it hits pretty hard.

Not sure why I am so shite at this but I really enjoy it. 47 runs now and not got past the 3rd boss. Only got to them 3 or 4 times. Cannot seem to get a strategy going for boons etc.

Turns out that fishing is actually quite simple and I'm a bit rubbish - reasonably worth it as well.

I've been focusing on the spear because I like the range it affords while being faster than the bow, and there is good synergy with backstab when you recall it, although it seems pretty weak late game. I watched a youtube where this guy was advocating the daedalus hammer that transforms your special into a shot that does 50 area damage, and he advised choosing boons that leverage special damage with a percentage. Which I tried, but by the end my damage output wasn't nearly good enough.

Along with the spear, I like the shield for the Cap style pinging off several enemies before it returns. That along with a debuff or two attached can make quick work of groups.

It’s super good if you feed it the right boons. Once you get your eye in on the distance you can feed it Zeus boons, for example which will constantly hit things with lightning. Every tick of base damage isn’t great by itself but you can quickly stack curses and whatnot with it.

Me too. Used all 6 initial vials. I assume there is no way to respec them?

You do get ‘enough’ and you eventually start to get redundant(ish) resources you can swap for it.

It’s one of the few things that the game missteps with because it doesn’t explain weapon aspects very well.

Basically, the weapon on the stand is the weapon type and then you choose it’s aspect. Aspects are all separate versions of that weapon (it’s appearance even changes when you change aspect) so there are 4x bows, 4x shields and so on. So there are actually

Some aspects just give more damage, some aspects completely change the way a weapon plays but the Titan blood upgrades that individual aspect, not the weapon overall.

tldr, there aren’t 6 weapons in the game, there are 24.

I dunno, tbh. I never really played for the story, so stopped giving people things and chasing quests once I had unlocked most of the content and just played it for the sake of trying builds out.

I played it *a lot* and never seemed to fully exhaust the dialogue pool, though.
