Some landscape and atmosphere from Far Cry 2.
Michele over there on the right was my best buddy in the first half. Met her fate when she got wounded and I had no syringes left over for her.
Nights aren't usually this dark, but when it's overcast/rainy then it starts to feel more appropriate. Normal nights are a little too bright.
It's even more rarely foggy than it is raining. I don't think I had fog more than once or twice this playthrough.
Magical militaman.

No, nothing. I only set the framerate to 45 to prevent the mercs from excitedly jumping up and down. There are some mods though. Multi-fixer gets mentioned a lot and otherwise the Redux mod seems to be the go-to nowadays.

Ah, you can just switch between both versions like in Diablo 2 Resurrected?

Some old vs new Broken Sword.. The new style looks too clean and in combination with the different lighting it almost gives it a surreal touch. Also not sure why they had to completely alter some designs, for example the chain posts in the town scene with the flower stand.

Although I like the cleaner look of the new, some of the art in the older shots look better. For example, the trees in the shot outside the medical centre with the ambo just look like giant sponges now and the ground no longer looks like a gravel drive but some weird spray on coating.

The old graphics looks good as a small picture but on 34 inch monitor its so blurry.
It's not bad but it needs to be played on smaller screen or in window.
Full screen i prefer new one more.

Playing the original I always thought the joke was the Irish lad was just a really small man cause he looked about 40.

Some Dark Souls: Prepare to Die edition with DSFix + Mods vs. Remastered vanilla screenshots (always PPtD first):

I have finally taken the time to look through the old screenshot folder and make a selection, so here are some views from Fallout 4.
He's trying to pretend, but everyone knows that he has a problem.
This happened fairly early, so I admittedly panicked a bit and hid behind the car wreck. Thankfully it couldn't reach me behind there
It really does look much, much better than the preceding games. Strong Stalker vibes at times.
The arrival of the Brotherhood leaves an impression...
... and it's certainly a good opportunity for screenshots,...
..., but I wish it didn't result in Vertibirds falling from the sky for the rest of the game.
It was refreshing to stumble across a still functional vault. You can only do the "everybody got murdered in this novel manner" so many times before it gets annoying.
Far more verticality than in either of the preceding Fallouts, which I did appreciate.
It's a feature, not a bug!
Being immortal the NPC kept arrogantly taunting the Paladin even after having died and having gotten up again repeatedly. The Paladin eventually got bored and wandered off.

I've never really understood the power armour HUD. Is it suppose be the inside of the helmet? It looks so random and ugly

I don't mind that one. Somehow it actually fits the look of the game while the green UI bits may seem minimal, but they clash with the game's look far more in my opinion. At least when it comes to the screenhots.

Yeah, I don't think I ever saw one not crash, and there'd always be that one paladin survivor: I've never really understood the power armour HUD. Is it suppose be the inside of the helmet? It looks so random and ugly Plus the clunky movement and having to get out and refuel them all the time. I get the point, in theory, but I never wanted to use them.

I wasn't a big fan either, but I think at some point it started to seem like a necessity as there were some fairly high level enemies in some spots. In fact, I'm uncertain how you are supposed to fight some of these encounters in melee, even with the power armor.
