Hey you, want to play as a psychopathically destructive Pomeranian and coat every surface of your family's brand new home with as much mud, paint, wine, and every other kind of fluid you can find around the place while trying on a variety of different dog fashion accessories, including a paint spraying cannon helmet, which you can use at the same time as a fucking paint mini-gun you can wear on your back?

Culpa Innata Old adventure game I tried to play once on steam but was censored. there is patch uncensoring it and decided to play it again. a minute in and I laughed little bit on this exchange: Game is set in 2047, 22 years after a global war. is it prophetic?

Not at all. Culpa is from 2007 and one off game by Turkish developer (which still exists but is in commercial software field) Still Life is by same dev team which made syberia (But different writers i think) It is also on my to do list.

I have to admit I have kind of given up on the genre for the most part. The obtuse puzzling, pixel-hunting and so on can easily get tiresome.
Still, might be interesting to give The Longest Journey another try at some point. I think I ran into some kind of bug the last time.

I gave up on the Longest Journey when you first go through the portal to the other side. You enter a new big area with lots of stuff and it just kind of exhausted me at the time.

Tlj. Replayed it in 2019. Still great but had some bonkers puzzles. It's part of the charm for me. Finding out what messed up idea the devs had. As long as it's not too crazy all the time and most puzzles are still logical.

You know... Sometimes those little things in games can just bring a big smile to one's face... SPOILERS: The main character of Culpa Innata needs a fancy dress and new shoes. her friends suggested a store: and here we are: The shop has also a second branch... The whole thing is simply amazing!

It would be great if you could at least write which game it is. I really don't know current gen console games and the last one could be Hellblade 1 or 2, not really sure. The one before that? No idea.

Those games are such a huge black spot in my gaming experience. Never played such a game, not a single one.

G String: Had multiple chapters worth of saves corrupt on me, but I was very close to the end anyway.
It's very close to Half Life 2 in some ways, but it's much darker and has sexual overtones. Cyberpunk, except it's all dirty and the average person has at best a really s**** life and you are crawling through sewers and tunnels about half of the time. FPS gameplay on default difficulty not too well balanced and the incessant clambering about environments leads to even more trial-and-error.
What a relief that was! One of the more annoying sections in the game.
