Realise they're important to the ecosystem but still, fuck em.
Hateful little thugs (also had one trapped inside my t-shirt as a kid and have been traumatised ever since). I happily swat the fuckers out of the air with glee (I know, I know).

Get an electric tennis racket thing. They work well, a friend said (if PETA are watching).

I do wonder how it would factor on an adult pain index.
I was stung (once, on the hand) a few years ago, and was really quite surprised by how much it hurt.
Five times in the throat area doesn't bear thinking about.

It’s great for cooking at least. Don’t think I’ever actually drank it come to think of it.

So I went and watched Coyote Peterson be stung by a yellow jacket, which is basically the Yankee version of our garden/paper wasp.
Didn’t look as bad as a tarantula hawk.

In the same carriage were a group from the London Symphony Orchestra and some sake salesman who'd come over from Japan who were just sharing what they had left over with everyone. It was a bizarre journey. I have no memory of the actual drink.

Unless you're really desperate and the only thing you have left is that or Carling.
Shochu is good, although there are dozens of different types made of different things. Minimal hangovers as well.

Had 6 fat bastard houseflies in my room this morning. Kept popping up one or two at a time. Shoo them out the window then another one appeared 5 minutes later.
It's very odd and concerning. Had a quick look around to make sure and I don't think I've got any decaying matter lying around that's attracting them but maybe there's something dead under the floor boards or something (no smell if there is)
Not seen any more for a 30 minutes though so maybe that was all of them.

I had a bunch of them in my cooker hood one summer. They had found their way into the vent. It was a lovely experience removing the filters to find out what the noise was, and having them buzz into the kitchen.

Only went and missed the Northern Lights because I was too busy playing Psychonauts 1 this evening. Looks like it was a really strong showing from all my friends’ Instagram posts too.
I suppose I’ll just have to console myself with the hope that we’re in for a day of the triffids type scenario and I can become leader of the village with my functioning eyesight.

I'd welcome our planty overlords, can't be much worse than the current world leaders.

Triffids freaked me out as a child. As a result I hate large plants.
Even sunflowers. The heady bastard

It still holds up as a TV series, it's on YouTube, or was.

Tonight is possibly decent too, just don't fall asleep in front of the telly, or play too many games! 🤣

I bought some new glasses after scratching my old ones after falling on my face (actually perfectly useable but the scratches were annoying me).
Now I'm not sure if I like the new ones. But worse is that I keep thinking that they're very slightly wonky. And I keep checking because occasionally my stupid fucking brain fixates on things.
If they are wonky it's like, only slightly, I doubt nobody would notice. But I keep checking and checking, seeing if I can adjust the nose pads.
I'm now actually thinking the glasses are fine, but it's my face that's wonky. And since falling on my face I actually think my nose is wonkier than usual.
Maybe I should just start wearing a mask, might be better for everyone.

Wonky glasses here too but I have one ear lower than the other. Or is it one ear higher than the other? 😕

Why is it every time I want to play a quick 30mins of Fortnite before going to bed I need to download a massive update that takes about 30mins?!
I updated the bloody thing 2 nights ago and didn't get to play it. Was busy last night. And then had to update the bloody thing again tonight. Meaning I now don't have time to play it tonight!

TF2 is too intimidating to start on now. I'd be like 15 years behind all the other players.
Much smaller download though.

Just going through mild food poisoning and I've vomited so hard, I now have 2 black eyes. Hope they clear up before Slam Dunk next weekend. Sigh.
