My eldest is obsessed with sea otters, the ones that do the hand holding and tie their fluffy babies up in kelp. We went to Vancouver aquarium 3 times in a week to see them, they're massive bastards and not aggressive like the little river otters we have here

Not my garden but I saw an otter in the Thames a few months ago. First time I've seen one in the wild, I was pretty chuffed. I stood and watched him do otter stuff for a bit then he fucked off We've got an otter that's eating everyone's fish from their ponds. Some guy has lost about 20 Koi Carp. Love the little guy. We saw sea otters at the Lisbon aquarium many years ago. I confirm, they were cute as fuck!

What seems to be missing imo is goldfinches. I have a feeder with nyger seeds which I beleive they love, but no action. The seeds get eaten when I sprinkle them on the ground, but nothing takes them from the feeder. Not sure why, but every time I put up the nyger seed feeder it takes the goldfinches about a week to start using it, so persist - they're surprisingly confident once they find it. We see loads of them in Bristol. |

And ducks! My iphone sometimes makes little slideshows for me, one was called 'feathered friends'. The first photo it chose was a picture I took of a duck who had raped another duck to death and was repeatedly raping its corpse.
Here he is. He's raped her bald.
