Not since the gaming chair started beating you.
Hello new page.

On a (semi-)related note, gaming keyboards. Pay twice as much as a regular keyboard + mouse set (based on a 5 minute local price check) just for a keyboard with some pretty lights? (Most actual advantages can be found on some "regular" keyboards as well afaik) I mean, I know a large part of PC gaming is about pimping the ride (and I'm hardly a stranger to frivolous purchases, let's be honest ) but I'd still rather invest the extra cash on, say, a better graphics card or some external storage or something...

I do find it useful having a backlit keyboard. Some of the more flashy effects are utterly pointless and purely for effect, but I set my keyboard to a single, subdued hue, and it makes it much easier to find keys if playing in dim light.

Git gud. I can frag noobs without my monitor turned on, never mind a dark keyboard.

Gaming chairs just look really tacky and I always assume when I see someone has one they've either been sent it for free to advertise or bought one because their favourite streamer uses one
It's the symbol of the influencer/influenced

I wonder of mowgli would have got one if he had streamed it
And then would we all use them

The song from the Katy Perry Just Eat advert. Because once I hear it it's stuck in my head for the rest of the day.

Gaming chairs are also really not very comfortable compared to a good office chair.

I'd just add in all gaming kit tbh. Chairs, headsets, gamer laptops, idiotic glowing keyboards and mice and the whole lot of internal peripherals with flashing lights and such. Put it in a discrete box that matches the aesthetics of your room, that shit is only going to match your room if you live in a brothel in Amsterdam.

*glances over at my RGB fans*
In my defence they came with the case.
The glowing mouse is on me though.

Fitted sheets.
I was taught how to do proper mitred corners flatsheet as a youngster, and fitted sheets with their stupid elastic annoy me.
Fuck off with your so-called “fitted”.
Fuck the fuck off.

My partner keeps tipping everyone ridiculous amounts! She tipped the pizza guy a tenner the other day, then the dog groomer a tenner for a £10 claw trim. Ever since everything became cashless she's not been breaking down any notes and now just feels like she has to tip crazy money.
I'm thinking of going to the bank to get a ton in coins to stop the madness.

Laptops I can understand tbh, you can't build a laptop from scratch as easily and the portability is nice. Maybe also headsets for the higher sound quality, attached mic etc. It's paying double price just for the RGB light show that I don't get (although I can see how a simple light for the keyboard is useful)

Some RGB stuff is nice. Synchronizing lights to what’s going on in a game can be a nice touch, but other than that it’s just distracting.

I imagine they lend that 'cockpit' feel to your cockpit office

Every decent takeaway nearby is closed on a Monday, the day I least want to cook.

How people never say bye in phonecalls in film/TV. It's mental, must be an unwritten rule why you can't say bye.
