Dr. Oetker pizzas are fucking grim at the best of times. That just made me throw up in my mouth a little...

Also Dr Oetker sounds like someone more likely to be doing unethical medical experiments during the war. Not v appetising.

I always thought of that product as one such unethical experiment

No pizza can be worse than the Kwik Save spicy pizza from back in the day. Just awful.

We've been known to allow some milder swearwords occasionally, like "cunt".

Then I will just tear my eyes off after seeing that abomination of sweet Pizza Ristorante.

Not that our Restaurants don't offer sweet Pizzas, sometimes. They are regarded as desserts and called "Pizza dolce". Of course if it is a restaurant serving you that, with a proper pizza oven and some quality ingredients, then it is a very nice dessert.
If you buy it at the supermarket, it is not really that nice.

I've been known to have a cappuccino in the afternoon. Do you hate me? No, cappuccino is fine up until aperitivo time (~7pm). Unless you had it along with non-sweet foods, in that case yes, we hate you. I never pair a good coffee with food - prefer to enjoy it on its own. And phew - I assumed every Italian would spit at me at the mere thought of someone having milk in their coffee later in the day.

Do you cook that chocolate pizza or just eat it out of the box, like a cake?
It’s intriguing to say the least
Probably better with Heinz Baked Beans on it anyway

That's outrageous!!! You should use Branston beans instead seeing as they stack properly in your cupboard.

Amen. I hate it when those tins don't stack on top of each other properly - who on earth thought, "Nah, they're fine just sliding around on top of each other." when the previous way was fine and sensible? I'd shake my fist and grumble at them if I could.
I like the Branston beans too, not solely because of their stack-ability - they taste good too.

Never pairing coffee with food, you are an intellectual. Anyway, a lot of people here put milk in the coffee, it's totally normal for half of the population and even more. Personally, I prefer black and bitter coffee to taste the aroma.

Ornella Muti was the first woman on screen I had a crush on. And I love Adriano Celentano films. As well as Terence Hill and Bud Spencer films.

Adriano Celentano made many films, but he's mostly known as a singer, one of Italian Greatests. Terence and Bud ❤️❤️❤️

Close! It's you're rubber, I'm glue Wasn't it I am rubber, you are glue? Yeah, it's a US thing I believe about insults. "I am rubber, you are glue. It bounces off me, but sticks to you" Clear to see why this was one of the weakest/base retorts...

I am not sure if I have watched any Italian films or TV shows. Kind of an odd oversight given the amount of non-English film and TV I have watched.

Get watching Gomorrah, or Suburra stat.
Or Thou shalt not kill (Non Uccidere) that's on 4OD I think. Couple of series of that been shown as part of the Walter presents stuff. It's not too bad.

Watch Inspector Montalbano. Montalbano is settled in Arkler region, and it comes from the novels of one of the greatest contemporary writers who recently died, Andrea Camilleri. So good.
