Anyone got any favourite game soundtracks that they like? That they found themselves listening to even after they finished playing the game?
Persona 4 Golden is my favourite game of all time, and a big part of why I love it so much is the music. Playing for 100+ hours and I never got tired of hearing the main battle music.

Loved Persona 3 and that has a great soundtrack. P4 is a good game but I really preferred the cast of 3 and the story was more interesting than the scooby do gang whodunnit thing in 4
Obvious answer to this is Ocarina of Time! And A Link to the Past. Zelda, basically

Not an all time favourite but I’m really enjoying the mix of beats, riffs and funk on Neo World Ends With You at the moment

Furi Parts of Nier: Automata are just astonishing, quite a lot of it is pretty generic though Monster Hunter: World Bloodborne
All give me the happy chills

Not an original score but best compilation of artists and tracks: Huge reason I got into dance, spent years listening to big beat and dirty French House because of that game. Thumbs up

Dawn of Sorrow was my first DS game so the touch screen stuff was really novel and exciting (I liked it) plus it was Christmas and it's snowing in the first area (think it's the first), plus the bells in the opening track. It really takes me back I think I remember hearing rumblings of Konami releasing a collection of the DS Castlevanias. I really hope that's true and they run well on the Switch. Sadly no Rondo/SotN on Switch for some reason
edit: just relistened and not hearing bells so either there's a) a different version, b) a different track with bells, c) I made it up to sound more Christmassy in my head

Yeah I know that Mass Effect 1 is universally beloved (Vigil is fantastic!). But Mass Effect 3 had an utterly brilliant soundtrack,

Probably my all time favourite 80s chiptune, remember playing Crazy Comets when it came out, and the music stuck with me for years after. Rob Hubbard was a genius

The Outer Worlds title theme that you only heard if you didn't immediately press start The sad fate of all title screen music. I remember when I was younger, I'd always wait on title screens for something to happen. Now I'm already pressing start before it's even loaded

As all time favourite, I'd pick Hell March (Command & Conquer Red Alert): Halo theme: I also think Nier Automata's OST was great

I think my absolute favourite game soundtrack is The Last of Us' OST, I often bang it on if I'm in a sombre mood. But I also really, really like the Deus Ex: Human Revolution OST, I think the music is one of the main reasons I replay that game A LOT.
Here are some more: The Last of US 2 Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Days Gone Max Payne 3 Red Dead Redemption Returnal

Can't believe it took me this long to think of this. I feel ashamed. You should too
Even though Blizzard are horrible now, I still really like this

The Last of Us too of course, although TLOU2 wasn't as memorable as TLOU1 in terms of soundtrack.
