A 'new star' might just become visible in the night sky sometime between now and September:

Why not just drink from the tube? Does it reduce in temp once in the cup in the same sort of way? So many questions

Spin the cup with the pivot point nearer the base rather than the top. Would be impressed if it didn’t spill then.
Edit: And get rid of that bloody piano. What is it with Yanks sticking inappropriate music over things that don’t need it? Bet it was one of the Youtube twats that thought Carl Sagan’s Pale Blue Dot speech needed a shitty tune behind it.
Rant over.

Spin the cup with the pivot point nearer the base rather than the top. The nerdier version of Spin the bottle?

Spin the cup with the pivot point nearer the base rather than the top. The nerdier version of Spin the bottle? It takes a really long time in space.

It’s crazy to think we are communicating with something 15 billion miles away. It’s our own creation, but still that is mental. The fact that it hasn’t been destroyed by any kind of space debris that far out just speaks to the absolute emptiness of space.
Do we know how much life these machines have left in them?

The lifespan is just as amazing. Every time they think that there’s only a few years left, the engineers have come up with ways to make the power last for a few more years.

I'm in awe of how bright these people are, to be able to troubleshoot an issue with a computer chip from 15 billion miles away.
Kind of puts my computer woes - "Why does the printer think it's out of ink? I only changed the cartridge last week!" - into perspective.

Also, remember that the computer on board will be early 1970s tech, because they only send established hardware into space, not the latest tech.
