They go through bone like butter. Like a criminal undercover. Come on, you've got half a chorus there. Could be a sleeper hit for next summer if we can find the right producer and then Neilka gets another swimming pool

You appear to be implying that I am Ms. Truss, which seems somewhat unfair.

I see Avanti have been rewarded for being the country's worst train operator by being given a nine year contract. Utter madness, and again another decision made according to how difficult it can make things for the next government.

Tories know they're fucked this coming election so burning things on the way out, thereby increasing the chance of them being back in 2029/2030. It's utter madness.

They now proudly boast that 90% of trains are less than 15 minutes late. A true achievement.

Amazing news... inflation slows by 0.1%. But the other rate has gone up by the same. They're relying on people being idiots, aren't they?

See burning the future of our kids to save a few quid now….except for it won’t actually matter because of 2 things:
1: As cunts point out we're a tiny island with a tiny portion of the actual pollutants. 2. As cunts don't point out we're a tiny island whose regulations mean fuck all compared to the EU.
We will have to stick to EU regulations to sell there therefore...

The 2030 deadline on ICE cars was one area we were actully more ambitious than the EU, pushing back 5 years just puts is in line with everywhere else. It’s a pathetic attempt to shore up the support of people angry about ULEZ

CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism)
UK companies that sell to Europe will have to adhere to it.

Can't imagine many car manufacturers will be putting much effort into designing ICE cars for much longer even with a 2035 deadline, current models will get some updates to refresh the lines but there's no point spending money on something with very little future.
Production will be slowly wound down and switched to EVs well before the deadline.
