Surely it should be trussterfuck. I am surprised they didn't go with that, unless it's a bit grauniad.

‘She’s totally lost it’: inside story of the unravelling of Liz Truss’s premiership
I'm not sure Truss ever had 'it' in the first place, but this is still a good (and sobering) read.
Good read that, even if a little traumatic. Spent many a late night working on stuff that was never going to see the light of day, as it was ever so slightly bonkers (we were asked to indeed "go big").

It pretty much confirms all the leaks and reporting at the time but the most notable thing is still how she treated winning a vote of 170k people over a human PowerPoint presentation like finding a magic lamp.

If the PM says they will step down then it should trigger general election as Truss was one of the worst fucking morons that could be PM and now we have souless rich cunt who is there to make his family and friends as much money as they can before they get kicked out of office (I bet some tory supporter/friend will get well paid over the hotels issue and the crumbling schools and hospitals
I don't know who I hate more Republicans (as I lived in the US when trump got elected) or the tory flith

Still cannot comprehend the idea of this plasticine billionaire cunt that has the weirdest ears I've ever seen, with a string hanging out of his back that repeats "five pledges" when pulled, being (theoretically) in charge. Huhuh not working class friends huhuh.
Cunt.

I'm sure the news that Sunak, when chancellor, cut the school repair plans in half rather than doubling it as recommended is going to do wonders for his and this government's ratings. Maybe Richie Rish is fucking useless after all?

It really is peak 'not doing your school project during the summer holidays' but there's no parent here to do it for them.

If only there had been a long period of time where interest rates were basically zero so the money to repair/replace schools (and other infrastructure) would have pretty much cost next to nothing by borrowing it. Damn you'd have to be complete fucking stupid not to take advantage of that wouldn't you? Also if the previous government had a scheme to do this work but you axed it with some bollocks about balancing the books like a household budget that'd be a terrible idea too.

I dunno ... "fix the roof when the sun is shining"
edit: oh, what's that the roof isn't fixed? the roof is literally falling down?

Not my fault guv.
"Prime Minister Rishi Sunak says it's "utterly wrong" to blame him for the failure to tackle RAAC in schools earlier."

This feels like a wider political issue than just the Tories, given the issue was identified in the 90's Gov departments have had 30 years to do something about it but their succession of financial blunders make it worse.
Tens of billions on hokey Track and Trace application? Greenlight. Stopping a roof collapsing on school children? Too difficult pile.

Well they have effectively privatised schools, so I suppose she's correct.
I seem to be paying for them via my local taxes though for some reason, yet the local council has no control over the academies or their staff.

Nothing is ever this government's responsibility. So literally, so what the fuck are they here for? Well other than giving mates deals, favours, lining their own pocket and ensuring they're on the board for a faceless corporation after their stint in office.

They found a lot of money to send a handful of people with different colour skin on to a floating death trap or to a country that might be worse than the one they come from though. But school kids.. fuck em.

Chris Pincher (Pincher by name, pincher by nature) has lost his appeal against an 8 week suspension so a recall petition could be setting up yet another Tory by-election.
To think this twat was the final straw that got rid of Johnson it seems to have taken bloody ages.
