I drink it and spit it directly into the engine, like a mother bird feeding her young

There does seem to be something in certain drivers seemingly sticking to 40 regardless of the speed limit on main roads. Every day i find myself stuck behind people who don't seem to realise the national speed limit is 60. Sometimes it’s unfamiliarity, though - especially on narrow or single track country roads you don’t know. Edit: speaking as someone who will absolutely go 40 down single track country roads. I was driving on many national speed limit roads over my holiday. If you did a constant 60 mph, it would have taken about 5 minutes before you came off at a corner into a tree.

I once watched a boy racer come off the road and go straight into a tree because he was going too fast down twisty country lanes.
It's amazing really because I could see it coming, it felt slow motion. I'll never forget seeing his little Polo just go THUNK into the tree.
My favourite part was getting to use the hi vis jacket and cone I had in the boot and flag traffic. When the RTC officer questioned me I did my politest "he was driving like an absolute cunt and nearly took out a cyclist too".

This is why the Colin McRae Rally practice is important folks!

You should have spat on him. If I saw someone fuck themselves up from sheer stupidity, I would defo have to really try hard to give a shit and help. My first thought when it happened was check the cyclist coming the other way was alright. The driver was only doing about 40. Front end was ruined but seatbelt did its job. He was more upset his mum would be angry.

It's really shit for cyclists too, as anyone trying to stay in those lanes risks just getting sideswiped so nobody will bother cycling in them as it's too dangerous. Those sort of lanes are nicknamed murder strips for a reason. So yeah, massive waste of money all round. Also, nobody bothers to look when they open their car door, Dutch reach folks, Dutch reach. If only because you don’t want to dent your Turbo Cock 5000 door with a human.

I don't know what Dutch reach is but I'm fairly sure, with a name like that, you probably shouldn't do it in public.

I prefer the Double Dutch - exit via passenger door directly onto pavement.

not suprising the corruption from the tory trash, the whole party is a vile tumour to the UK
Sunak’s family firm signed a billion-dollar deal with BP before PM opened new North Sea licences

That right there.

I think the trash know they don't have much of a chance at the next election (although some gammons will still vote for them, despite living standards have dropped so much)

I can't hold any shares directly in most companies because of my wife's work, and potential for them to be her client.
Bonkers what is OK for politicians.

I used to have a car that would fold in it’s mirrors when the engine was switched off. I lost the door in pitch black night, Dutch reach or not - stooped car.

Urgh the new font and layout of the BBC News app is horrible. It just looks more spaced out and less efficient. Also, instead of being able to swipe left for My News you now have to press a button at the bottom of the screen. I hate change for the sake of change.

Well you can tell Sunak doesn't drink otherwise he'd have been ashamed to hand that over.

At least the bloody search function works how you expect it to though, Finally!
We can't have everything.
I don't like the new version either. The annoying thing is that they've got their own typeface, BBC Reith, its lovely and has loads of variations, why they chose this one is beyond me.

BBC article made mention of Sunak being "teetotal", as if that's an excuse.
