I think the big takeaway here is that Nick was watching GBeebies.

The right wing believing anything at face value that Farage says is very on brand.
I guess his money from Russia wasn't getting paid into Cunts. I mean Coutts.

Farage aside, I find it a bit uncomfortable that a bank would disclose details about someone's private account balance to the BBC.

Usually yes, but when he's been setting his supporters on them for the past few weeks I can't say I blame them.
Poor guy though, he's down to his last 999,999 quid.

Farage aside, I find it a bit uncomfortable that a bank would disclose details about someone's private account balance to the BBC. It doesn't look like they have, other people have given the (publicly available) information about account balance requirements. Which it appears Farage himself has confirmed.

Believe he has said that he was never given any minimum amount in the account. If true (which I doubt), then he would have only got that as a result of being a public figure. Seems he is happy to be treated differently when it benefits him.

I dunno, the full thread makes it sound like the info came from within Natwest

I'm sure Farage isn't potentially at risk of bribery and corruption, I think it's a definite.

I dunno, the full thread makes it sound like the info came from within Natwest "People familiar with Natwest's thinking" doesn't necessarily mean from within. If anything, I would say less likely, as I think it would be explicit, i.e. "sources within NatWest".

Now that Farage's bank is known its time for all his supporters to withdraw their accounts from it just as they said they would....any min now
It's so funny that they're always the victim. The bastions of critical thinking taking a known liars word at face value because they want to believe its true so badly.

I dunno, the full thread makes it sound like the info came from within Natwest I work in the sector and there is absolutely no way they will have divulged anything about this to anyone. Its more likely to be from someone doing what I just did and saying 'I worked in the sector and my best guess is....'. And there is a chance that the algorithm doesnt like him now, for sure. Just like it will reject window cleaners for being a cash business rather than their casual racism.

PartyGate: The gift that just keeps giving. Police investigate Tory 'jingle and mingle' party www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-66103922Passed down from one Conservative leader to another, it’s the congenital syphilis of politics.

Smirking jug eared cunt. I can't wait to see him turfed out. Ideally by his own MPs so they can install a proper lunatic for the election. Politics Joe has a lot of the hearing up and it's the most pathetic (and most Will from the Inbetweeners) shit you will ever see. He could not give the slightest of fucks about anything other than his own discomfort in the moment. I suppose it is very on brand.

Reneging on climate pledges, that Daily Mail front page a couple days ago expressing renewed outrage at the 2030 new petrol/diesel car ban, and an uptick in Spectator sorts banging on about how today's been cold ergo climate change is all made up by eco nutters.
Tory party is reverting to type and net zero is going to end up a culture war issue. The planet is fucked.

Our dearest Dorries was opining from the DM front page about sending her electric vehicle back after 5,000 miles today. This definitely happened. Definitely. If we can stretch these bastards out in the 40 degree sun we might have a chance

The biggest challenge for addressing climate change is that most people that it’ll affect haven’t been born or are very young. 60+ and they’d rather do what they’ve always done rather than have to adapt or suffer for the sake of an upcoming generation. All they’ve got is a decade or two of hotter summers.
It doesn’t take much to help them come up with an excuse to not care (“the science isn’t conclusive”, “it’s cold today”, “The planet is getting warmer naturally”).
It can’t be addressed at the individual level - that’s a lie heavily promoted by oil companies and others interested in the status quo. It can only change through policy and regulation. If every individual did their realistic best it would make next to no difference.
