HIGNFY could just apologise (as Vandelay says above  ) for putting him on the first place, and then not mention the cunt in any context whatsoever, ever ever ever again. I think their bizarre fear is that you won't be allowed to leave your 15 minute zone! All the nutters are out in force in my area. There's almost a perfect overlap with those who are anti-vax, anti-lockdown, anti- bike lane, transphobic and also anti Scottish independence. Most of these get pushed by oil companies/states, they just use some of the other stuff eg gender-fury to drag them in. This is it. You're ERC if I remember correctly? When I do a bit of a surveil on facebook that's what the (mostly women, mostly over 50's) are harping on about. Controlling the populace with permits to leave your zone a certain amount of times a month. FFS. Yes, I've given up arguing, just troll a bit occasionally. It's gone beyond FB, the woman who run the main local page is now chairing the community council, allowing it to push her views on consultations. I despair of the council doing anything active travel wise. |

Pretty much since he was booted out as PM last year, I've suspected he will try and make his return when the Tories lose the next election. He will then spend 4-5 years as opposition leader playing the cheeky chappy, sniping at Starmer with his little jokes. Public will fall for the act all over again and vote him back in "'cause he's funny". He’s 58, by the time this Parliament is over and Labour have a 5 year stint he’ll be far too old at 66ish |
