I highly doubt that a quarter of people think covid was a hoax Yeah I'm going to guess that there's something wrong with the sample set. Online only. God knows how they got it to people, but there's a big risk that it's some self selection bullshit due to some moron sharing it on a conspiracy theory forum or what not. I also basically live within 15 minutes of everything I actually need. But I do live in London, so even when it's not I just get the bus/tube. |

"Probably or definitely" is a bit fucking vague... I'd say a lot of people who chose that option are probably (or definitely) the same types that thought lockdowns were a waste of time, rather than full on conspiracy theory nuts.

This was the methodology Savanta interviewed 2,274 UK adults aged 18+ online between
28 and 30 April 2023. Data were weighted to be representative
of the UK by age, sex, region, and social grade.
No mention of the selection criteria - if there was one.

I think their bizarre fear is that you won't be allowed to leave your 15 minute zone! All the nutters are out in force in my area. There's almost a perfect overlap with those who are anti-vax, anti-lockdown, anti- bike lane, transphobic and also anti Scottish independence.
Most of these get pushed by oil companies/states, they just use some of the other stuff eg gender-fury to drag them in.

When I do a bit of a surveil on facebook that's what the (mostly women, mostly over 50's) are harping on about.
