Surely more likely that she just wasn't given/wasn't entitled to his diaries. Also I think she had a very specific set of events within Downing Street to look at rather than just being tasked with a general discovery of rule breaking.

Is she known for Whitehall whitewashes? All I've read about her is pretty impeccable and not prone to that kinda thing.
What is Shipman like? Murdoch paper so I'm erring on the side of cuntion.

The enquiry was limited to the Downing Street events as that's where evidence had emerged.

I work in HE and without internationals the sector is fucked. They pay more or less double what a home student does and some disciplines (engineering, maths, business) would probably collapse without African and South Asian students populating those courses. Pre-pandemic there were some institutions looking to counter Theresa May’s funding cuts and the reduced numbers of EU students by trying to aim for a third to half of their overall intake being international recruitment. Banning dependents would seriously knock numbers and at research level (phds) it would be enormous. I know several businesspeople who went to do MBAs in the UK (or US etc..) for a year or so. It was pretty common for them to take their families. It was probably horribly expensive, but I think their companies were paying.

What is Shipman like? Murdoch paper so I'm erring on the side of cuntion. I've got a feeling he is Johnson fanboy. I'm sure he was someone you would regularly see tweeting nonsense during that era. Can't think of any specifics, but I'm sure he is a voice I've filed under "completely ignore for your own sanity".

Shipman is a twat, really not a trustworthy reporter and clearly trying to throw up a smokescreen for Johnson with that Sue Grey nonsense.
I'm sure this bollocks has Sunak cowering in fear from the Johnson loons.

Sunak should have been rid of this lot when they defied the whip over his Northern Ireland deal. Yes, it would have put a dent in his majority, but they still would have had a reasonably comfortable number of seats and it would have ended the lot of them.

Seen them already trying to spin inflation going down. It's still at 9 fucking percent.

They really are - it's cult behaviour, plain and simple.

Seen them already trying to spin inflation going down. It's still at 9 fucking percent. It should drop as it’s a rolling 12 month figure. There’s no reason it should be staying at 9%+. It going down has absolutely nothing to do with anything politicians are doing.

I fully support Boris and his followers doing what they can to make this government even less effective. It might help stop even more of their stupid racist policies.
As long as they all fuck off forever soon after.

That would require Sunak to be born with a spine.

I think I could walk into the Westminster toilets, piss on Sunak, nick his lunch money and he'd apologise for not giving it to me before Maths.

We’ll be alright though with all the companies giving 5% or less pay rises.

Those rises are almost big enough for the average tory MP’s housekeeper to request a larger weekly budget

Same with petrol the other year, prices are now going up because companies are just YOLO hiking them to increase profits.
