I actually found that a bit emotional. Don’t @ me. But that public service and move from performative bullshit and country first is exactly what I needed to hear. I think it made me realise how cynical that lot have made me. It’s going to take a while for people to untangle themselves from the cynicism that the last 14 years have brought us. Doesn’t help that you can hide away from it with it being social media’s bread and butter.

He can talk the talk alright. And you know what? He just might be able to walk the walk, too.

This is 80% of voters which makes me think it's BS. They can't have been that split between all the other parties surely? I'm seeing 34%, so 66% would be the equivalent figure.

Just seen the whole Liz Truss thing, she really isn't all there at all is she? She seems broken or something, nearly brain damage levels.

Unexpected fact. Sinn Féin are now the 5th biggest party. 0.4% of the vote giving 7 seats versus Reform's 14%+. How come Northern Ireland isn't included in the exit poll when Scotland and Wales are? Is it always like that?

Well done to Jess Phillips and Shabana Mahmood standing up to the Misogynistic "independents" sub-human scum, they are no different to the reform filth but people look the other way

Just listened to Kier Starmer's speech
T_T It's feel like a burden I've been carrying around for the past decade has just been lifted, it's weird man, it feels like sanity has returned to our nation. I'd be lying if it didn't make me quite emotional.

It was a good speech. From the heart Feels like being PM and having an impact is the end goal here for Starmer. Not a step to wider fame and riches, like for others.

I genuinely laughed out loud when he blamed the 1911 National Insurance Act for their trouncing.
Even if 14 years isn’t long enough to sort your shit out 110 feels like it probably should be a long enough runway.

None of my friends are full Higgy but the overwhelming number of political posts being shared by the ones who share political stuff today are essentially “the resistance starts here”.
Like, lets see whats on the table first maybe?

Sadly they will never listen to anything Labour says even if the party undoes a lot of the damage the tories did. They want to die on that hill like that Owen Jones
“the resistance starts here”. twats

Multiple protesters at Farage press conference. Interrupting one at a time. Each time he’s about to start another one pipes up. Around about 5 or 6 now
