Ros is excellent. Deserves a higher profile role imo.

So pleased to see Rees-Mogg gone. Fucking cunt is a stain on this planet. Time to get the Fontgeek wetworks team together and finish the job
Glad Labour got in - they better start to turn things around, no expecting miracle with the amount of damage the tory cunts have done.
Fuck Clacton, turkeys voting for christmas there, don't expect any help from the traitor fish face cunt of MP. But good to see Galloway lose his seat -Another cunt from a cunt party. July 4th was quite a bad day for cunts!

4 Greens now and a boat load of Lib Dems Is it time to actually allow them both back onto television instead of only interviewing Lab, Con and Farage? Everyone should feel free to contact the BBC and ask them (a) why so much coverage of Farage, (b) whether they'll allow the LibDems and Greens some coverage now, and (c) why they keep getting right-wing pundits on question time. (and bonus (d) why they keep framing every question in terms of a 'you're gonna raise taxes!' gotcha, instead of having a mature discussion about how raising taxes might actually be a good thing if it leads to improvements in services and a bump for the ecomony. )

I suspect that'll be another incremental change, with those put in the BBC by Tories slowly phased out. Which will in turn change the editorial slant.

Yeah the people of Clacton are about to find out that (like in Rochdale) these types of men do not give a shit about the constituencies they’ve parachuted themselves into.
And Reform MPs about to get a real shock at the endless tedium of actual constituency casework.

Or alternatively they'll pull a Dorries and just do fuck all work, claim expenses and appear on GB News. Isn't that basically what Farage did when he was a Euro MP?

Waking up to see that the Greens got 4 (and are level with Reform), has cheered me up somewhat. Also love that Rees Mogg and Truss are gone.

The end result is looking more like the original exit poll prediction, with Labour already on 410, Tories 114 and LibDems 70. Just with a lot less Reform twats.

Also an aside on proportional representation:
Currently- Reform got 4 seats and 4 million votes (14.3%vote share) Greens got 4 seats and 1.9 million votes (6.8% vote share)
So you might think PR would be worse and let more far right loons in… but how many people voted tactically this election, rather than voting for the party that best represented their views? I know I was very undecided between Green and Labour because I didn’t want FPTP to keep the Tory incumbent in power.
I have to reckon Greens (and the more progressive left generally) would have done much better if we’d had PR this election, so I think I’m still in favour of it.

Waking up to see Truss lose her seat isn't a bad start to the day. And I see that Lib Dem have actually done and trounced the Tories in my seat, which is truly incredible (only fly in the ointment is Reform's share plus Tory's is more, but still a clear win).
Very glad to see Reform not doing as well as they were expected to. Some of the polls suggested similar numbers as the exit poll, but I always dismissed those as clearly not taking into account that their vote would be heavily localised and not reflected across the country. That seems to have held true, although they have come second in worrying number of places.

Well I wake up in a Tory constituency with one of the worst MPs in the country, and despite all the carnage and a tidy majority for Labour I feel pretty down. As someone said a few pages back, this isn’t the catharsis I had hoped for, and it doesn’t compare with the elation of 1997. Too many people in this country vote for cunts, too many people in this country are cunts, and the past 14 years still happened.
