It all sounds like "Could be good but you're just playing a demo of it next week so may as well wait to see if they update the mechanics at all". The fact Konami themselves haven't been showing off gameplay and we are a week from release is really telling. Last few posts on their twitter page is all about pre ordering the player pack.
Think I'll just wait to see what state the game is in by the time the Master League comes out.

If this turns out to be a f2p my club ill be happy. It's all I play so if they manage to turn it into a proper game once all the features are in I'll be pleasantly surprised.
They really fucked up with the announcements of this though, I nearly bought fifa.

I’ve not really been following since all the shitty announcements at the start.
Have they confirmed there will be a master league add on? If the core game is decent I’d happily just pay for the one mode I actually play (if reasonably priced of course). I also nearly bought fifa. I’ll hold off on that until I hear more about how PES is shaping up.

I'd imagine there's a fair bit of review bombing from that because of their chosen delivery method.
Tbh, even if it does turn out to have potential I worry it's going to end up pretty much DOA because they've been so stupid about the launch and the rest of the features never make it in because there's no interest.
Hopefully it being free works wonders.

Graphics look dogshit.

Probably yeah. I'm going to download it and have a few games but I reckon it'll just be a case of waiting about 6 months until it's actually playable.
They've had 2 years and release with this? Do they have 1 dev working on PES these days?

Looking at clips people are uploading online and yeah, I can see why they haven't presented any footage of the game in the days leading up to release. I know FIFA gets people uploading bugs and stuff too, I guess I'm just more annoyed by this one because I had high expectations when they announced they would skip a year to work on a version with a new engine. It's just a sad state to release your game. You need to release with all cylinders firing and build from there, but it's literally a demo. This game did not take 2 years to build.
