I find FOMO on game sales a lot easier once you realise that, if it's been on sale once it'll be on sale again, if not cheaper.

Personally, my issue with cdkeys is more about supporting the developers. Not that I haven't considered using them from time to time. Personally, I find my wanting to support the developers at odds with also wanting to support my wallet with great deals. But that's just me. Also, I have used CDkeys with absolutely no problems many times over the years.

Horizon Zero Dawn is also on GOG, if you want it completely DRM free.

If you can stomach Ubisoft Connect, they are currently having a sale with most of their stuff discounted, plus a 10 euro discount on any order above 19.99 euro, applied immediately.
Of course, they went and made games cost a few cents less (look at Far Cry 6 being 19.80 euro). But you can add any random DLC or old game to the cart to reach the threshold and it should work. For example, there is a Child of Light items pack that is just 30 cents. Or you could get something like Rayman 2 or Cold Fear for like one euro each, if you feel like something retro. They have Anvil of Dawn too, just saying.
Now, the main question is, should one even get games on Ubi Connect?

I don't use it often, but iirc it mainly just stays out of the way. I set it to offline mode and largely ignored it.
It might have changed in the past few years though.

Titanfall 2 is less than 5 € on steam right now.
By the way, does anyone know if there is a way to get it that doesn't require putting up with various EA accounts, launchers etc.?

Steam shouldn't have any of that as far as I know.

I think the steam one still needs an EA account and probably Origin. Origin isn't too bad and mainly stays out of the way though.
That said, they're retiring origin and bringing in a new EA app, which I assume will be worse.

Dustwind for 6,29 € on steamstore in case anybody's interested in kind of a Fallout Tactics inspired game. Though it apparently uses a semi-automated real-time system.

Heads up, Hitman 3 is going to be getting Hitman 1 and 2 bundled in with it for free from 26th Jan. So anyone wanting the trilogy for cheap would be wise to just get 3 from now on.
It's also going to be rebranded. The digital world of gaming eh.

If they rebrand it to 'Hitman' I'm going to sulk.

Hitman 13 please.
I don't remember if that is a reference to something or not.

Yeah there's been some pretty good ones recently.
It's getting to the stage where I'll soon need a specific controller addon for the phone. I've got a clunky thing that clips to my 8bitdo but the weight is funky with that.
