Basically more shinies if the dev wishes so and if the game isn't cpu limited fidelity mode at 60fps. There's machine learning supersampling so it'll probably help with games looking a bit sharper basically dlss. I mean do I think making games I've already played look a bit sharper or have a slightly higher setting is worth that massive mark up, no I don't. Yeah this is what I'm seeing unless I'm blind or missing something? And isn't it 700 moola's? Ye gods, what? Yes but there's no disc drive, which is 100 quid. So if you're like me it would be 800 quid all in. You don't have to get a stand but if you did that would be 25 quid on top of that. So yeah it's a really big outlay but it's for that not insignificant market who like that sort of stuff and have the means to justify it. My only worry is what that means for the next gen in terms of pricing and features. |

Thing is, after 25 minutes of marvelling at the puddle or the extra two pixels in the tree in the distance, you'll soon not notice one iota of difference. You'll spend the next 12 months crying when you're playing Ghost of Tsushima trying to justify the expense.
