It's a great bit of kit imo. Mine (or rather the boy's..!) gets used a couple of times a week usually. Did he/we get £200 worth of use by buying last year? Probably tbh. Whizzo - usual recommendations apply - Pistol Whip, Walkabout Golf, Beat Saber upgrade, Horizon and perhaps something like Resi 4 (although WD: Saints and Sinners might scratch that itch.

Walkabout, Saints & Sinners (being able to play them without fucking Move controllers will be nice), Ghostbusters, Kayak among others are on Premium and I've got some PSVR1 titles that have free upgrades too so I'll have plenty to play. Plus there's GT7 of course which I still play flat on a regular basis so I'm looking forward to that in VR.

Forgot GT7. Legit amazing experience but not for those who get travel sick easily!

Do you still need to manually measure your pupil distance and change it for each person, or does the eye tracking business just handle that now?

Forgot GT7. Legit amazing experience but not for those who get travel sick easily! I don't get travel sick (at least not in cars, I've been on some ferry crossings that have causes issues) but I do suffer vertigo and am not great in VR (I think they might be linked). On the original hardware, with DriveClub, I didn't even manage a lap before I had to rip the headset off and was physically sick moments later. With PSVR2 and GT7, I can easily do 30-45mins before I feel even a little nauseous.

DriveClub VR never really had enough time put into it, Evolution did it as the last thing they did as the studio was closing and it was obviously a rush job. Still quite impressive but if they'd had enough time it could have been great.
As for my VR legs the only time I felt bad on PSVR1 was playing three player co-op in Arizona Sunshine the frame rate was too chuggy and I'd feel crap with about 10 minutes or so. I never felt bad even on the crappy Virtuality units in the nineties.

First time I played GT7 I felt sick after the first corner! Was able to build up to about 20/30 mins after a while. Not played it in ages tbh - and given that Star Wars game also threw me off, I think a concerted effort to regain VR legs is in order!

It's a shame PSVR1 VR Worlds isn't compatible, I spent twenty minutes just constantly bouncing around in the mech game to try and make myself sick but never did, that'd probably be a good way to build up the VR legs.

VR is a big no no for me. Feel motion sick on enough games as it is without chucking that into the mix!

If it was £200 rather than £250 off I’d be in like a whippet after a foxes tail.
But at £330 I’m still going to hold off and see what Black Friday deals bring (hopefully at least a free game and £300 or less).
Plus if I really want the VR effect I’ll just spin erratically at speed for a few minutes on my office chair and then immediately try jogging through a park at night on the piss while getting my wife to chase brandishing a carving knife for added suspense before emptying my stomach in some unexpecting shrubbery.

I'm surprised it's mostly out of stock too. So people really do want VR.

A big percentage increase on a small number is probably still a small number.

It is rather lovely! Now if the blue "eyes" interacted in the game... sold!

Wrong time of year to play VR though with the heat, was sweating like I was driving a real car with the windows wound up playing GT7 for a couple of hours a few days ago. Put the leaderboard on an MFD please PD, my only complaint with GT7 in VR, it's such a huge upgrade to the minimalist GT Sport support. Eiger Nordwand is really nice to sit in an open top car and just experience.

I’ve had my finger on ordering a few times at that price, but my previous experience of PSVR made me feel sick after 20 minutes. My partner got more fun out of it playing beat saber for bloody hours ha.

Thanks!
I actually ordered one from the local Greek Sony official store yesterday; I'm supposed to get it later today or tomorrow, then have to track down a suitable BT adapter and DP 1.4 cable, then Half Life Alyx here I come!
/fingers crossed it works
EDIT: Actually, the delivery courier just arrived, so I'd better get cracking with the DP cable and BT dongle...

Seems you can't get the PSVR2 PC adapter anywhere now. Found pages on Sony's store, Amazon and Very, but all unavailable. Knowing the way Sony has treated its VR hardware, I'm guessing it could be quite a wait for it to be available again.

Greetings all! Haven't been about much lately but I've just tried out the PSVR2 PC adapter on my laptop (Lenovo Legion 5 Pro with 3070) using a usb-c to display port cable and all worked straight away. Thought I'd have problems with BT but connected straight away and tracking well. Only had a quick look at D-Day Museum VR but i'll check out a few games tomorrow. After reading about so many having problems, and some confusion over whether you can use a usb-c port or not, I was pleasantly surprised it went so smoothly

My PC VR adapter arrived this morning. No idea when I'll actually set it up but I do want to play Alyx (picked it up in the recent Steam Sale in prep).

Shopto are taking back orders for it, so just put my name down for one. No idea how long it is likely to take for more stock though. Edit - oh, just had an email from ShopTo saying my order is at the warehouse. My card has the full payment pending as well, so perhaps they actually do have stock! Edit edit - They do! Page has been updated to a buy now instead of back order - www.shopto.net/en/ps5pl06-playstation-vr2-pc-adaptor-p1182113/
