Ahhhh. I seeeeeee. I liked 2 purely because of GRAFIX but once you get over that it became increasingly difficult not to notice that Guerilla aren't great at FPS games. They always felt too heavy and clunky like I was forever fighting the countries.

Wasn't the last Killzone meant to be pretty good? I never played it (or any the others/any of the Resistance games), but it was on my list of PS Plus games to play if I ever got around to playing any PS Plus games.

It was ok, looked very nice but again suffered from very deliberate slow movement and all player characters had very long arms that I couldn't get past once I noticed it.

Resistance 3 was decent. The others not so much.
Everything about the Killzone series is just painfully average.

I picked up the slim at the new price but frustratingly the PS5 does not support 3d Blu-ray so will be keeping the PS4 connected too. I know it’s basically a dead tech now but it cant have been hard to keep that function.

Did a factory reset to make sure nothing was on there. Took a while and now it's dead. When I press the eject button it beeps. But nothing happens when you press the power button. |

Anyone use a third party controller that isn’t silly money? I can’t get on with the Dualsense at all. The most uncomfortable controller I’ve used since the 16bit era.

Yep. I know I’m going to be in the minority but it feels to me that it’s been designed without any knowledge of what hands are like. Can’t use it for more than 25-30 minutes before hands and fingers are hurting. 2 hours after and my hands still tingle.

OK really random but I fixed the ps4. Just have to force feed it a disc and it came alive like Johnny Five

I actually loved the SP of Killzone 2. I played it years after and iirc it still looked absolutely stunning. The last part was a massive difficulty spike mind you but yeah, I really liked it overall.
Hmm. Tempted to fire up the PS3.

Sony took away the selling of PS plus codes so there are no deals on the basic PS plus except for once or twice a year (black friday, christmas) when it gets 25% off on at the PS store. Buying cheaper PS store credit at 15% off from shopto.net is all you can save otherwise Sony want people upgrading to Extra and Premium so they'll do periodic promos with a third off those, but Essential rarely gets a discount just black friday. |
