For how little it actually needs to do, it is a pain in the arse.

It's just super ugly and utilitarian. Given what the game is it seems so completely at odds with itself. It's not going to ruin the enjoyment but it's just a bit strange. I mean it looks cheap which is one thing this game is definitely not.

Aside form font, it's pretty good though.

I mean it looks cheap which is one thing this game is definitely not. I turned off the compass along the top completely (it isn’t needed) and it was much better. I find the map to be a bit of a twat though. Can‘t zoom in far enough and hard to see where you actually are and which way you are facing a lot of the time. Also don’t know if I am missing something but when considering which realm to warp to I cannot find the map details for each region to see what I still need to collect in each before warping to the actual realm itself.

Settle down guys, what is this. A font forum? I really am not a font guy (or geek) so the fact that it raised an eyebrow from me surprised me too!

Yeah I think Sony are doing a good job justifying the cost of the subs. Pretty sure I’m saving money at this point.

I still get confused by the tiers. Like which of those games are on essential vs on premium or are they all on both?

And so on and so forth.

Has anyone played Watchdogs Legion? That was always something I had on my wishlist but never bit the bullet so I'm glad it's on there now.

I did read the accents are low grade impersonations bordering on parody.

The voice work for most of the characters in Legion is pretty rough, the non-rando characters are fine but the recruits can be so variable that you'd think an AI had done so of them. Other than that I really enjoyed my time with Legion, it's not the game that WD2 was but easily on a par with the first game and better in a lot of ways too. The campaign has plenty to do and it's pretty fun sneaking around inside places you're really not supposed to be and it does allow for a lot of creative ways to get things done. The recruit anyone you like idea was a bit of a daft idea, it really makes you not value your team all that much as they're rarely memorable but I continued to use my original character more than any other as she kicked arse and didn't sound bad. The four player co-op worked very well, even when one of your friends decides to set the entire city on fire and the place is near constant explosions. London itself is pretty well done but there's still nothing to match the accuracy of The Getaway games and they're PS2 titles, you can't ride on a cargo drone over Buckingham Palace taking shots at Albion's security in that game though so there is that. One serious downgrade from WD2 is the shops can't be entered, they're just menus on the outside of them which seemed a bit crap. The pubs are fully enterable if you want to cause some trouble with hacks though, lot of fun in that... The 60 FPS patch that was released makes a huge difference on PS5, the RT was nice enough for an early effort (no where near Spider-Man level) but switching it off and getting the lower input latency and smoothness is the only way to play it really. Someone not a million miles away from this post may have made a video about it when it first came out, featuring my main character throughout the game.

It is interesting how no one's come close to Insomniac with a high resolution performance RT mode on console apart from iD Software. What's up with that??? I can't even imagine what Spiderman 2 will look like, I guess we'll be finding out in the Sony Showcase that is heavily rumoured to be in the week of the 25th May.

Ratchet & Clank is a cracking game. Well worth playing with headphones on too as it's a great demo of 3D audio, with a wonderful score (the geezer from Devo IIRC)

One of those that my lad bought for his birthday/Christmas with some cash, platinumed in a week or two and have never gotten around to it and am still playing games from the ps4 era.

The accents as well though… oh my god It's not what I'd call amazing, but it's a decent enough open world and it's quite fun - especially to fuck with the authorities. Storyline is sufficient. Being able to get anyone into your team is cool. Suffers from all the usual Ubi-gripes, but it's definitely *not* as bad as it was made out to be, imo. For free, I'd definitely play it. Edit: sorry, meant to Jambowayoh, not wunty.

Ha, actually yeah, it's not horrendous. It just gets dull really quickly, which is why it's great for just popping on now and again. I really do love the setting.
Again though. The accents. They actually make the game worse than it is.

The zombies mode is pretty cool. Hard as nails - particularly solo - but cool nontheless.
