The fact that big Dan Amartey lasted so long is insane.
I forgot Cannon as well but if you compare the squad from a year ago it's not hugely different. New GK, 2 wingers and a CM. Doyle and Cannon have been injured.

About May. I saw the dreadful Bournemouth game with the GK coach in charge and then away at Leeds with Dean Smith, when we kinda had hope it wouldn't go to shit.
Tbh it was only going one way, post World Cup.

Bamford being peak Bamford today. Scores for the third game in a row, because he’s actually ok once he gets into a scoring streak, and he’s the epitome of the ketchup bottle player. Plus he’s also missed two sitters already, because he’s simultaneously one of the best positional and running forwards I’ve ever seen but one of the very worst at actually kicking the ball into the goal.

5-5 against Notts County today. That's 11 goals we've conceded in 2 games. If we had a decent defence we'd be in the playoff places.
Oh and a brilliant worm from the new signing after scoring the equaliser in the 95th minute with his first touch.
