The Bombpops did an Enemy You cover and made it a bit faster than the original.
Thought I'd attempt an acoustic cover: Listen to East and West - Enemy You - Acoustic Cover by Convercide on #SoundCloud soundcloud.app.goo.gl/dHr33And yes the picture was chosen for maximum EG memeage.

Also I'm pretty sure The Interrupters are supporting the Murphys when I see them next year. Which is nice.

Living End are my favourite live band by far. Chris Cheney is a god on guitar. Got to see them quite a few times in the 2000’s but they haven’t been over to the UK a great deal the past decade.
They recorded a show years ago called Live At Festival Hall which is on YouTube in full which captures them amazingly well.

Yeah, they're great. Never seen them live so here's hoping Slam Dunk can entice them over this year...

These guys were the main support for Social Distortion on Wednesday. From the Isle of Wight and are pretty damn good live!

The Armed have evolved into quite a beast. Totally on fire at the moment, really hope I get to go see them at Arctangent this year.

I love the Beastie Boys, obviously they're mostly known for hip-hop but I really like the hardcore stuff they started off in, and occasionally returned to.
RIP Yauch etc.

Is this punk? I don't know, but I reckon it's punk enough.
So here I was wandering around a music festival this weekend. I'd kind of resigned myself to the fact that there was nothing there for me, but that's fine, as I was enjoying myself anyway. I'd momentarily escaped from the family and I hear a band start up in one of the nearby tents. "Hmm", I thinks, "that doesn't sound like it belongs here."
In I wander and have the legit best 45 minutes of music in the whole weekend. Met up with the wife etc later and she's like "that's literally the happiest I've seen you in ages"
They are from down Englandshire somewhere and I'm awfully glad they made the trip all the way up north. Gave me a real Dropkick Murphys vibe.
Made my bloody weekend they did.

@wuntyate
I'd say it's in the punk sphere. I mean folk and punk is a pretty consistent mixture. Dropkick Murphy's, as you say, but also say Flogging Molly. Just the obvious ones that come to mind, but there are loads of others.
I liked that so thanks for sharing.

Always thought the Levellers were basically a very folky punk band.

Great aren't they. It's awesome when you just happen upon a band and end up loving them.
Ha used to quite like the Levellers as well.
