As far as I can tell, I can't melee yet, unless I'm missing something obvious! You get a sword really early on. Maybe you just haven't found it yet. Figured out I was nerfing myself by skipping optional rooms trying for main objective in the first biome. That's where I found the sword I think. |

I managed to complete it and I'm not very good at these sort of games. Keep going, your skills improve, it's worth it.

Having my best run yet, closing in on the second boss, with an astronaut, and doing great when a random shot hit me and glitched me through the bottom of the level to fall forever.... Gutted

Wow... I've done it. Credits rolling. On at least a couple of occasions I thought there was no way I could get through, but I'm so glad I did -great game. It really does need to be the game you commit to though, I'm not surprised many gave up.
Already gone back in and got the first 2 sun fragments so I'll probably do act 3 also as doesn't seem like that should be too tough.

Hi all, got this last week but am still plugging away at biome 1, I can get to the locked boss door but for the life of me cant find the key, the internet tells me its behind the red door which I need the sword to get past but I have opened every door in the biome and cant find it! my orange objective is miles to the side of the map in the middle of nowhere with no other doors to try - any ideas??!! That's the door that has the red forcefield I need the sword to break. I have reinstalled the game in protest, will try again tomorrow thanks 🙂

Not so much horde. You're climbing a tower clearing out each floor. Bit yeah it's endless. Lots of story mixed in, audio logs, freaky stuff in a hospital. It really doesn't fuck about either.

Yeah if you liked it you've got to play this. It's just pure distilled Returnal with everything turned up to a billion. Feels like ithey could have released this as a standalone game at the minute.

The temporary weapon upgrades you can get are insane. Seriously this is better than the full game, it's incredible.

It's definitely on my rebuy list. I'll give it a week or so. If Ghostwire Tokyo doesn't click or it's pish I'll flog it and grab Returnal. If it's decent I'll, well, grab Returnal anyway. I kind of knew when I sold it on I'd regret it.
