We need forum user Puddleduck to post in this thread - I'm sure his V is beating them off with both hands.

So, um, did you guys side with Reed or Songbird? I eventually went with one - although both of the immediate ramifications seemed less than ideal - but I have a save from before the path branches, and I'm not sure whether to proceed or reload.

Well, if I'm on the same page as Jambo and AA, I can't have gone too far wrong. Onwards!

Whatever you choose it's worth replaying to see the other route, it's really quite different

I decided to finish River's questline for the sake of completeness.
The Silence of the Lambs part was indeed pretty cool, but the awkward 'Come have dinner with my family!' section that followed was almost as dull as River himself - I ended up refusing to let the kids win while we played their VR game, skipping through 90% of the dialogue, and letting River know that I only liked him as a friend. (That was a lie, by the way: I didn't like him at all.)

I'm now just imagining Ulythium using military grade cyberware like Sandevistan and Kerenzikov to go HAM in an AR video game against a couple of preteen kids (Don't even know if you can use Sandy in the game or if you have that build, but it's a nice mental image).

I think River's main problem is that he isn't an attractive lady and he walks like a big twit I did the VDB quest different this time and they all got nuked. I think that was a more satisfying ending and there's some justice for Evelyn. Last time we just exchanged bitter words and went our separate ways. I didn't get a chance to kill Woodman though and I think my opportunity has passed now, which is a shame. I knocked him out during the first visit to Clouds and Maika didn't tell me I could go and kill him when we met later Also, I really enjoy doing the carjacking missions

I say knocked out but I actually beat him up with my gorilla arms so my head canon is that I bashed his balls in so bad there wasn't even anything salvageable to hook a Mr Stud up to

I think River's main problem is that his ripperdoc got shitfaced before working on him one day, stripped out his personality by mistake (damaging it irreparably in the process), and had no choice but to replace it with an overdone baked potato

I'm not sure how 'hot' this take is, but I think Phantom Liberty is at least as good as Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine; in fact, if I had to get off the fence one way or the other, I'd say it's the best of the bunch.
Whomever handles casting decisions at CDPR deserves a raise - just like with Reeves/Silverhand, the Reed/Elba pairing was a masterstroke.

I'd say Phantom Liberty is better than Blood & Wine, easily. It's at least as good as Hearts of Stone, but that's a trickier thing to rank.

As much as I loved the characters in Hearts of Stone - especially Olgierd and Casper the Horny Ghost - the expansion was poorly served by The Witcher 3's clunky gameplay and shitty combat.
For me, the characters in PhanLib are every bit as good as those in HoS, but the gameplay in Cyberpunk is vastly superior to that of TW3; as a result, it wins out overall.

askewI'm not much of an expert on cool clothes - I'm basically a walking Gap advert IRL, except way uglier - but I found some combinations in Cyberpunk that I think look pretty good. I've basically gone down the Fashion Souls route, though, so it's all about the visuals for me (as opposed to stat modifiers and whatnot).

I've got some dodgy combat trousers on and a weird jacket, alongside a silly military cap and facemask. So my V looks like a goon.

I'm really basic and end up wearing either the replica Samurai jacket or David's Edgerunner jacket.
Did find a pretty cool fur trimmed jacket in PL I wore for a while too.
I find the fake "Semurai" jacket you can get if your a street kid simultaneously cool and hideous.

There's a lot more clothes once you get to Dogtown (Phantom Liberty). My advice is to embrace the Cyberpunk and don't try to pick something normal/boring

I've pretty much stuck with this outfit:
'Punk' jeans Military boots Long-sleeved white T-shirt Johnny's Samurai jacket Johnny's shades
It works pretty well with my V's purple mohawk, if I do say so myself.
