The game was a 9/10 for me, easily. Brilliant.
Barely had any issues with it on PS5.

This was supposed to be my Christmas 2020 present, but I binned it off because of the launch debacle. I picked it up this week in the EGS sale at next to nothing, and I'm pleasantly surprised so far. Looks gorgeous, and the atmosphere and style is all very engrossing. Inventory/journal/crafting/cyberware confusing as fuck. Haven't encountered anything broken or bugged yet, but early days. So far a solid 7/10 with potential for more I hope.

It's a decent game, just rushed out the door with some horrific issues & should never have been cross-gen.
Glad i could play it on series x which ran it fine. I still have a couple of endings to do yet actually. I was waiting for the new gen upgrade, but i' m not sure if that's ever going to happen now!

Yeah, PC with a year of patches behind it is going to be an absolutely fine experience. Especially if you have a card that can do DLSS/RT.
I keep meaning to go back and finish off that one bugged questline. Definitely not worthy of a second playthrough though which might be needed.

Definitely shouldn't have been on PS4 and Xbox one. As far as bugs etc it was just fine for me..sure I had some crashes and some glitches but nothing that ruined it for me. The 20fps was painful though. On series X it was just a great experience though. I'll do my 3rd play through as some as the series X patch is dropped in about 5 years time.

Yes I saw that on nexus the other day and was thinking about installing it. I'm early in my first play-through (which I am really enjoying) though, so was a bit reluctant in case it rocks what I understand to be something of an unstable boat. Separately, I'm also thinking about spending the cash to reallocate my perk points. I've used 10 so far but scattered all over the place. Now that I've worked out how the netrunning works, I want to specialise on that a bit more. Worth doing? |

Rather than plan a character, I just increase each skill to maintain a points headroom for each sub skill so progress doesn't stall.
Means my skills points just reflect whatever I use often most which seems a fairly natural way to evolve a character. Probably isn't the most efficient way but I've not felt underpowered yet. The opposite if anything.

Bought this for cheaps and, well, it's pretty good. No crashes or egregious bugs (PC on a 2070s). Nice world building - crowds are a bit weird with their pathfinding. Missions are plentiful with side-missions nicely fleshed out. Story so far is ok - only at Act 2 - but interested to see where it goes. Graphics are great and running DLSS at 4k in balanced mode makes everything look lovely and crispy. The scale of the place is pretty impressive too. Good stuff.

The city is architecturally really interesting. I keep finding new features and POI. It's a really impressive achievement. Bit of a shame they seemingly ran out of time to fully take advantage of it. Keep coming across places that seem like they were once intended to be 'more'. Despite this, there are tons of quests, I've just got to the point of no return and have maxed my street cred but still only level 30 with lots of side quests to go.
They have a platform they can work with for years if they haven't lost too much good will by this point. Meaty DLC doesn't even need a new map.

I understand why it's more important that they get the current gen versions for Cyberpunk out of the way, but I wish they'd have given us Witcher III first. I've been wanting to replay it for awhile, but have been holding out for the update.

Personally, I'm not at all interested in the Cyberpunk update - nothing against that game specifically, just that I don't like first-person games in general - but I can't wait for The Witcher 3.
Having accepted that we won't get the latter until the former is out, I'm taking this as news by proxy (if it's accurate, of course).
