Haha of course it won't be free. It will likely be like Witcher expansions which are brilliant and huge. I can't wait. I'm going to through money at them and I can't wait to play the whole game again as soon as the current gen patch is out.

I picked this up in the sales before Christmas and just waiting on the PS5 patch. Don't really see any point in starting it until then. Be nice if it was out in the near future but then it's a bit of a shit time considering what else is about.

It's strange. This went from top of my most wanted list for years (even pre-ordered the super expensive edition when it went live) to complete indifference when it became apparent the game was nowhere near ready for release and would be massively falling short of expectations. I cancelled that pre-order with the idea that I'd pick it up when it got fixed and updated for current gen, but I just don't give enough of a shit about it to bother now.
I'll probably give it a go in a few years when I can grab it for a tenner.

I think it’s a brilliant game too. It really grabbed me and I was lost in its world for over 100 hours. Recently I’ve been thinking about it again and will definitely start a new run when the next gen patch drops.

Yeah £15.99 sounds about right. I actually paid about 3 quid for it as I was a bit cheeky and took avantage of that thing where you could get £5 credit for £1.

I finished the base game on my Series X and apart from some weird moments, I didn't experience any game breaking bugs.
I enjoyed it a lot to be honest, so hopefully the DLC ain't bad.

Oh good. I almost resumed my playthrough at the weekend after a year away from it. Not sure how much longer I can wait for them to overhaul it, so might be time to jump in once this lands.

If they could fix the police and some of the other AI issues then I’d probably pick this up again.
The main game was good but the inhabitants of the city ruined it all just a bit too much.

well in that case, both this and Witcher 3 were confirmed as free upgrades by CDPR. So yeah, feel free to pick it up
