We have compulsory voting so turnout isn't an issue but yeah I'm baffled why the UK don't have voting on a Saturday and of course a democracy sausage. Normally it be one or two dollars and goes to the local school or club where they set up the polling stations. |

Unfortunately you don't get the sausage if you vote early.  Or if you are an overseas voter. But to be fair I forgot to tell them of the address change when we went from Belgium to Spain and by the time I remembered the time frame to reapply had expired. Was in a shitty electorate anyway, safest lib seat in the country. |
