I honestly have no idea how she functions as a human being.

Chrome on the phone now closes inactive tabs and saves them. I’ve got about 100 of those.
Then only about 10 active.
On the desktop I find splitting bunches of tabs into different windows is better than having loads of them in one long line. Not disclosing how many I have though.

I'm way too neurotic about notifications and tabs and emails etc that I close/hide/mute them all. I just can't do it. I have no idea how anyone can. Looking at a girl's phone as she opens Safari about stops my heart.

As soon as I can't read what the tab is, I start closing some. How anyone can have over 10 and still function properly, I have no idea.
Some big brain people about I guess.

My work is full of people complaining about their laptops being slow when they have dozens of MS Office document and hundreds of tabs open and they haven't shut it down in months.
I'm like ekz, close everything down when I'm done with it. Seeing all those tabs open freaks me out.

Iirc infinity is over 99, because they only have space to display 2 digits on mobile. I'm like ekz, close everything down when I'm done with it. Seeing all those tabs open freaks me out. I don't think I've fully shut down this laptop since I bought it, which is several years.
342 tabs now, although about half of those are Roblox tabs or ones the kids have opened that they want me to buy for them.
Recently browsers (but not FF) have started to group tabs using AI, so I wonder if that'll be able to easily combine all the 'harry potter tat' tabs into one so I can close them all.

+1 for closing all tabs when you're done, unless you're a maniac.
Tab grouping in Chrome's mobile browser was such a shit addition, but I guess you freaks must love that kind of thing. It just made it even more of a faff to close everything if you accidentally opened a tab group.

Think I just remember the bad old days of Win XP, or a Samsung Galaxy before the S8, where everything was slow or took up too much memory. I never keep tabs open. I might open several at once to things of interest, then close them down, one at a time when I'm done.
Who the fuck has hundreds of tabs open at once? What's the point? How do you hold that much in your brain? I'd probably forget what I wanted them open for in the first place.
