Woke up full alert at half 4 and couldn't get back to sleep. Had a shower and doing some work. My boss is going to think I wet the bed.
AGAIN.
Not so long ago I would be going to bed at this time after a big night out.
To be honest I don't miss that either but I'm not a fan of this crack of dawn bullshit.
Must be getting old.

First time I've gotten to sleep before midnight in about a fortnight, was sleeping like a log, and some cunt and some other cunt decide to treat me to a domestic outside my window. Gee thanks.

I'm up, new job and need to be in at half 5. Finishing at 1330, so there is that. I can hear music playing through the walls of my flat. It sounds quite good, Proggy. They might be high or something, that used to be me.

'A newly qualified bus driver was sacked today for making sexually suggestive comments to the clippy on his bus. "He had to go immediately", said a supervisor. "It's quite astonishing that in this day and age a man would act like he's Reg Varney or something, and made even worse because we haven't even had clippies since 1976, we don't know how he managed it" they continued.'
When asked for a comment, the man laughed a bit like Sid James.

Ahoy. Sigh.
Last night of holiday and I can't sleep. Area around Marseille train station is a shit hole and there are crazies outside my hotel window shouting all night and cars blasting past. Poor hotel choice by me.

Well, I start working around that time, so no sleeping for me in any case. Perhaps I'll use that as an opportunity to occasionally drop by this thread.

Since I started working from home (aka bed) I often fall asleep as soon as I shut down my laptop at 4pm. Then I wake up around 11pm, doomed to browse the web until about 4am when I drift off again, unless I masturbate myself into exhaustion. Fingers crossed I can get off soon.

5 hours sleep is pretty good for me. Anything more would be a luxury.

The coffee speaks, the Parliament sleeps. Seriously, I'm supposed to be working, but the EU parliament has apparently gone back into vacation, so there is almost nothing to do whatsoever...

I know this isn't the proper time to be posting this but I've had sleep problems for a while, poor diet has been attributed as well as still thinking I'm a teenager and can go bed at silly o'clock and wake up fine.
I regularly take 2-3 hours to sleep or wake up middle of night and struggle to get back off to but I've found that the only thing that guarantees a good night's sleep is a shag. I'll sleep right through afterwards pretty much fresh as a daisy. So for every 2 weeks I'm guaranteed at least 2 nights worth of decent sleep.
Life is good.

I'm constantly tired at the moment. Not sure if its because I'm not sleeping properly or because of something else. At the moment I'm trying exercise every day and trying to improve my asthma management. If I'm still the same in another 5 weeks then I'll be getting blood tests to see if its something else. I've always been a light sleeper, but at least I'm getting a grip on that a bit through meditation (as it helps me drift back off) and not keeping my phone near the bed.

Hello darkness my old friend...
Was suddenly very tired last night around 8 and went to bed. Recovered enough to mess about with my fitness band (as you do) and managed to set an alarm for 3am... Right in the middle of the migraine that it seems the sudden tiredness was a precursor for. Couldn't even turn off the alarm from my band and hence why I've got my phone.
Going to have to try and meditate my way through this one.

I'm going to have to get back into meditation again. I really enjoyed it the last time I did it seriously, but it's the sort of thing that you need to practice on a regular basis.

Yep you do. After 6-8 weeks it's been shown to change the brain structure in positive ways. I'm (re) doing a course from an Australian university on the benefits of meditation, of which there are many (including slowing the signs of aging).
Anyway, time to stop pissing about on here, ignore the dull ache, get meditating and get back to sleep.

That's really crappy Space. Puts my migraine into perspective.
I'm glad you're well enough to have the chemo though, as I know they delayed it earlier. Take care.

I spent most of last night refusing to acknowledge that I needed the loo and trying to put it off. So rather than get it over with, I kept waking up and thinking "too tired, I'm not bursting" and then having dreams about looking for the toilet. I should have just got up as I'm shattered now.
