I'll still go and see it, Cineworld Unlimited member, but I'm not expecting much, the trailers don't inspire confidence.
Disappointed that the Shazam sequel got pushed back, now that's a DCEU movie I really enjoyed.

Wasn’t expecting that appointment. As mentioned above, Superman just got a whole more interesting.

I liked Afflecks Batman, not sure he would want to do another though.
Might be time to go all in the crazier side of DC. Weird shit happened to the Justice League over the years or if they want to go with Supes vs Darkseid there's plenty of WTF shit to explore on Apokolips.
Just as long as they veer away from the fucking multiverse.

Gunn should be a good choice but I do wish he had a blank canvas to work with. The current DCEU is just too much of a mess and could really use a full reboot.

I think Affleck could've been a great Batman with a much better script. I was so disappointed when he canceled the solo film he was set to star and direct.

I get that it was a decade long vanity project for The Rock. So hurray that it happened, I guess. But it seems like their only goal was to create a lot of bombastic fight scenes, and that was it. There's a little bit of a backstory at the beginning, and some expansion on it near the end, but for the most part it was fight after fight with no character development to tie any of it together.
Some of the one liners actually got a chuckle out of me, but every spoken word can't a gruff oneliner.
So back to the video game comment, it probably would've been more enjoyable if I had a controller in my hands, then I'd be able to forgive some of the lack of narrative.

I'm still thinking about this damned movie. I won't say I got zero joy from it, but holy shit it's bad. I think I'm personally offended by it.

Sounds like they want Steven Spielberg to direct MoS II Theres been rumours about him doing a superhero film for a while. F4 was another being mentioned. I can’t really see him being interested but you never know, it’s something he could do for a new experience. |

With James Gunn in charge I wonder if Dave Bautistas wish to play Bane will finally happen.
Leto probably done though considering Gunn has made pedo comments about him in the past..
The funny bit will be Ezra likely being kept on.
