I think it's probably a bit of both. They do certainly have a history of being a cunt.

But I've encountered a few meth-heads through work, and that particular flavour of rant rings a lot of bells for me.

He sounds like he's taken all of the drugs. Every single one.

He's like the random crack head that starts ranting at you on a night out. Helps you realise it's time to go home at that point.

There's always been something off about Ezra Miller. They've always came across as a bit, I dunno, skeevy.

You know, I made the joke/observation last year that Space Jam 2 was literally AT&T making a 2 hour ad of WB's properties so someone would buy them off them, and seeing how quickly after Discovery scooped them up, I'm pretty sure I was actually correct in that assessment.

Also I had no idea Discovery had that kind of money. I know people like alien docs and Mythbusters, but enough to buy WARNER BROTHERS, the number two after Disney? That's wild.

When you put it like that it does sound a bit mental, so I did a bit of digging.

As a part of this deal there was $30bn corporate bonds issued, which is one of that largest in US history. So the short answer is: debt.

Also, interestingly, AT&T have a 71% stake in the new company so they still have a significant interest.

That comes with years, often a decade, of familiarity of the old one though, not 20 mins of shared screen time.

I find it a bit weird that they went with Miller as Barry Allen in the movies, when they're not THAT disimilar in looks and on-screen personality to Grant Gustin's TV version. If they'd made him (movie Barry) older or more straightlaced, that would have made sense; conversely made him even younger, perhaps, and made him Wally West, just for the differentiation... I dunno. I guess it doesn't make much difference, they'd just be "The Flash" to most people.
