Well yeah... Why push four day passes on the unsuspecting punters if you already know no vendors are on board is my thing. Yeah it's a business and they're here to make money, but that kind of move is just going to bite them in the arse next year if they even bother doing one.

If only there was somewhere on EG that people could express their displeasure about how shitty EGX is this year. Maybe some sort of forum. The #egxrefund hashtag is tragic reading, people who have travelled across the country and spent a few hundred quid on hotels, expecting to spend a couple of days there and leaving after seeing everything in an hour.
And Reedpop are an actual events company. Embarrassing.

It's brutal isn't it. Quite often when people moan about stuff like this it's exaggerated but they are completely right here.
Can't imagine it's good news for them financially either as it's not exactly cheap hiring the arena.

Plenty of stuff to do around the ExCel at least. You can look at the Thames Barrier. Plane spotting at City Airport (not weekends). Take the Woolwich Ferry then walk back via the foot tunnel. If you’re feeling hungry you can venture into Poplar for a lovely pie mash & liquor at Maureen’s

I understand organising events is difficult but surely they would have seen other events not being in person and the reticence of companies not wanting to send their staff out especially with almost all of them WFH. It just feels the writing was on the wall in glowing neon and ReedPop were like 'fuck it'. |

Me either but thats mainly because I just hate the excel centre. If something is that much of a pain in the arse to get to, there is no point in it being in london and should have just been dropped in a field next to the M40
