Purely profiting from Japan mistakes so far, still no sign of an actual attack and defence getting cut up quite easily Like I grew up in England, have a West Midlands accent. I ought to be able to at least support them a bit. If I ignore the posh boys in gilets and just go out for a cigarette during God Save the King. But fuck me they're so negative and miserable. Last weekend they averaged 1.8 passes before a kick. Now I love a delicious tactical kicking battle where you stretch the defence one way then the other until there's an overlap, but the point of that is that you then fucking strike and try to score an actual try with your winger. This is like watching the utter misery of 00s rugby. Which I am entirely guilty of of cheering dire kicking battles of Chris Patterson vs Italy, but I and rugby have moved on. We currently have a very underbaked All Blacks, but they'd be fucking this game. |
