Refereeing standards have been the worst I've seen at a professional Rugby tournament.
Inconsistent and confusing punishments for illegal tackles and Tier 1 nations being allowed to get away with shithousery is not something I'm used to in Rugby.

It has been bad and it feels like the Tier 2 teams are getting most of the shaft.
Pearce has been excellent, and Barnes has been Barnes. There's a Georgian ref that I rate who's name escapes me.
The rest have not impressed me. Which is generous.

I'm not convinced that Dickson is up to refereeing at Premiership level, never mind on the biggest stage of all.
Always rate Pearce and Barnes, though.

Japan are so much fun. If rugby has 3 parameters, team tactics, skillz and physical size the only thing this England side has is the size. The other 2 pillars are just entirely absent at times. Japan may still lose despite all that which is sad, as the first 2 are the fun bits to watch.
