I haven't watched as much rugby lately as I'd like but I've no idea why anyone would want a northern hemisphere team win. Not sure about right now but generally the rugby championship is infinitely more entertaining than the 6 nation's. So although I don't really have an allegiance I would generally like the southern teams to win as they play way way more attractive rugby. Australian rugby league (the NRL) is the best form of rugby in either code by far. It’s the most skilful, most athletic and most entertaining by some distance |

Haven't seen a replay, but I think the yellow for Carreras must've been a glancing blow, rather than direct hit to the head.
I seem to remember Stuart Hogg getting sent off for something similar against Wales, many moons ago, but that definitely involved a direct head-shot.
