Maybe I'll become L'Uly for the duration of the tournament. I did more happy shouting at the TV during that game than I have with England in forever.

With players like Uini, Marchand (hope he's ok) Woki, Aldritt, Dupont, Jaminet, Fickou, Penaud, Ramos, Jaminet 2 they're very hard not to like. Such a shame Ntamack is out. |

I haven't watched as much rugby lately as I'd like but I've no idea why anyone would want a northern hemisphere team win.
Not sure about right now but generally the rugby championship is infinitely more entertaining than the 6 nation's. So although I don't really have an allegiance I would generally like the southern teams to win as they play way way more attractive rugby.

France, Ireland and Scotland are all playing far more “attractive” rugby than SA right now. More effective than NZ going by recent results too. Aus are playing like complete dogshit, even the Aussies aren’t looking forward to seeing them play.
NZ-Aus in the last few games has been one team doing whatever they want while the other fumbles about without a clue, I’ll pass on that one

While I think Bichii's sentiments are historically accurate, I don't feel they hold true in 2023 - every 6N team bar England is more than capable of playing rugby that's both attractive and effective, as France showed last night.

Pretty difficult to score a try if you keep kicking away possession. Too many high balls and some poor handling.
Smashed by the Saffas a couple of weeks ago and sautéed by the Frenchies last night.
We are playing a southern hemisphere style game and 6 Nations countries are bringing a more dynamic style of play.
