The Lions tour next year is on course to be absolute carnage at this rate.
The news is the Rugby Championship is going to happen every other year. Then in the gap years South Africa and New Zealand will do full tours of each other's country (e.g. clubs, A teams etc.) So Australia will get even more cut out of things. It really is a League country.

Seems massively unfair for the Wobs and the Pumas, unless they're going to undertake similar tours of their own.

Red Roses had a good game against NZ. Abby Dow is awesome on the wing!

Scotland had a couple of tidy tests against Wales and Fiji. They're now up to 5th in the rankings going into a WXV2 title defence.
Women's rugby just seems so much more positive at the moment.

Bath vs. Northampton - a repeat of last season's final - made for a great start to the new season, with Bath ending up comfortable winners.
Also, Newcastle were pumped by Bristol. 'Twas ever thus.

Was Finn good? Edinburgh went down but surprisingly closely to Leinster having scored 4 tries.
I tried watching highlights on Twitter but it was Danny Care and Sam Warburton and I wanted to punch something. Why's Warburton not doing the URC FFS? Quisling.

Finn had a good game, yeah - kicked accurately, tackled more than I'd expected, and generally ran the game well (alongside Ben Spencer, his captain and scrum-half, who got the Player of the Match nod).
If those two can stay fit, I think Bath will be serious contenders this year.

Exeter vs. Leicester was another good game. Gloucester vs. Saracens was less fun - two former Saracens players on comms, alongside Nick Mullins, and all of them having a "Sarries" love-in for 80 straight minutes. Danno Where you at?

Gah Glasgow also pipped at the death by Ulster. Honestly a bit wasteful we were on top all game but for a few stray forward passes and stuff like that marginally chalking off attacks. Also a yellow that seemed a penalty to me. But you can't be that wasteful!

Sorry, bit distracted. Good first weekend in the Prem I thought. Frustrating from my point of view because Quins don't often win an arm wrestle and we shoulda

The Sale vs. Quins game was a bit of a turgid one, but that was due to the conditions more than anything else (and the rain probably suited Sale more than Quins).

Bristol vs. Gloucester proved to be a great game for the neutral viewer - it ended 41-44!

Gah WXV2 Scotland v Italy clashes with Edinburgh vs The Bulls. I've elected to watch Scotland as international > club.

Tigers had a nightmarish time against Bath this afternoon. A losing bonus point must be scant consolation (and they wouldn't even have had that much, were it not for Finn Russell having the mother of all off days).
Quins fared better against Newcastle yesterday, but... well, it's Newcastle. They didn't give up, and kudos to them for that, but they're still the league's whipping boys.
