STILL can't find a series X anywhere. I might just buy an S for now. I did try and snag the Halo edition, no chance. I did pre order the Halo Elite 2 pad at least. I hope we get the same when Gears 6 releases...I'm 2023/24?

Try the hotstock app and just wait for the alert to come in.
I can't decide if I love or hate the look of that Halo elite controller... Think I'll just keep using my trusty old first gen one until it croaks.

Any recommendations for rechargeable battery packs for the controller? Already fed up with constantly swapping out batteries. I'd normally always just go for official, but for some reason they haven't included a charging light?
I did briefly consider getting the Elite controller, until I checked the price.

But as with everything, you get used to it. I’d go for it. |

I can recommend the PowerA packs. You just have to watch as some of them (the black packs as far as I can tell) offer play and charge or docked charging, while the white packs only work with the charging dock.
Whichever brand you go with, moving away from constantly replacing the AA's has been a massive improvement.

The official charging cable for the Xbox One (micro-USB) has a charging light. The official charging cable for the Xbox Series X/S (USB-C), does not have a charging light.   |

If you wanna get something my advice is buy it online from UK and get it shipped to Spain, obviously you'll have to pay a BREXIT tax for that but that's the only feasible way of getting one current.

I used the PS5 stock UK Twitter account which has a Discord account, they have an Xbox one too. Unfortunately I don't know what the additional tax would be for delivery. You'd have to get a quote on that.

I think my S is on the fritz. Numerous graphical glitches across multiple games — typically, it’s that exploded polygon type effect. Games are also crashing frequently.

To be honest if this solution actually became a thing I'd expect Microsoft to disable an unofficial method like this in an update anyway.
It's more of a nice proof of concept thing about what could be done with the slot once Microsoft's little arrangement with Seagate expires. An official adaptor would certainly allow some flexibility, of course a cheaper drive would suffice also.

Have you tried Eneloop rechargable batteries? They hold charge for ages and I think I only need to swap them every couple of days. I think I bought my first set in 2016 and then only replaced them in 2019. The batteries were still worked, but one had started to bloat a little. |

So just enjoyed my 1st night with my brand new Series X. Just about enough space on my unit next to the PS5.
Really impressed with the console. I thought the PS5 was quiet, but it seems loud next to the Series X.
Was browsing my old games catalogue and looking through my old 360 games, I just found Guardian Heroes which I didn’t know I ever owned. Happy days.!

Can anyone recommend a good charging kit for the Series X controller.
Looking for something where I can ideally just plug the controller into a usb cable to charge it. I dont want to keep having to change AA batteries and all the extra faff that this creates.
I want something affordable and which has a decent battery life.
