Yeah, I like that too. It sort of reminds me of the ambient dub techno stuff I play sometimes after edibles, minus the drums. Which is no bad thing.
Carry on 😎

Also, it's SO much easier to play an electric guitar with a skinny neck and fretboard and virtually no body, than a grand auditorium acoustic. Different world. Who knew?
What, everyone except me? Oh. 😁

Haha, I can try. Might take about 4 years though! Incredible synths though, unbelievable I can tell. That quality of sound is something else.

I'm now just fucking about on my own tune. I sometimes do stuff by myself, just for myself and weirdly I never bother singing on it. I've decided to add some vocals on this one. it's very much a WIP (only done one verse and chorus and it's all over the place mix wise) but I like how evil I've got my jazzmaster and sandberg to sound. Plus there's something therapeutic about sitting bashing out drums on a little midi-keyboard: drive.google.com/file/d/1nkPXJ-WI3zM-aJHvvkGDhYdGLn0LcD1I/view?usp=sharing

I've got what I need, it's just that every time I turn it all on, it's just fucking impossible to not get distracted by the bloody things! It's a nice problem to have though

I really like the hook on the lead guitar. It's like a turbo charged maiden song

Fun times.
Just for something to do this morning (and to save the wear and tear to my lovely '72 Framus Strato 6 that will inevitably occur with my ham-fisted thrashing), I decided to restring my late 80s Washburn SuperStrat, with it's stupid Floyd Rose stupid locking tremolo.
Actually, marginally less of a ballache than I remember a Floyd Rose being. Still a bit of an arse setting the fine tuners, but not terrible. It is restrung for the first time in well over a decade. Don't ask.
Shame the electrics seem to be non-functional on it. I've opened it up and can't see any thing obviously wrong, so it's beyond my skill and it's almost certainly not worth paying to have it repaired.
I might actually need a new guitar...

Of course you need one.
Which one have you got your mouse pointer hovering over?

Looks beautiful. Our guitarist has a similar epiphone. Amazing tone.

Love Pelham blue. There’s a Rick Beato signature LP special coming out in that colour at some point, been teasing it for the last 18 months

Lovely instruments, all. Including the P Bass (I think it's a P?), Quaddy.
I've already agreed to take the Mrs out to a garden centre this week because I bought the guitar. I'm also going to need a strap and strings and another lead. At this rate, she's is going to want a new car.

Have you got a decent amp to go with it? And it's a jazz bass by the way

I've been a strictly acoustic player for years, so I'm not a beginner and electrics seem like something I should have a proper go at, having wanted as long as I can remember. All I wanted as a kid were dogs, motorcycles, skateboards and guitars. 🤣

Ah man, you've got to get a decent guitar for the katana. That'll sound so sweet.
Have you bought it yet ffs?!

Definitely. Not quite what was requested, but this is the current electric duo: Broken Washburn on the right. I've had a look at the electrics and it looks like they were fiddled with at some point. Shorts everywhere, although all the connections seem solid. Can't get to the pickups themselves without removing the trem and maybe the neck? Too much for me and not worth paying to have a pro repair. With the new one coming, I might just put it up for "spares or repair" and see if I can get a few quid for it (like £25 or something). I can't imagine they're highly sought after.
