The Chip 'n' Dale film is pretty good, basically an updated Roger Rabbit but with even more obscure cameos. And also, as the EG front page spoils, shit Sonic voiced by Tim Robinson .

I put Moon Knight on for five minutes yesterday just to see how ducking ridiculous it was. Binged all six episodes over the past 24 hours. Didn’t quite stick the ending for me, but thoroughly enjoyed the ride. Usually don’t go in for MCU shite, so nobody is more surprised than me.

I see the banner is advertising that The Orville has new episodes coming soon. No waiting for it to finish on Hulu first or owt like that

Danny Boyle is clearly enjoying himself with the first episode of his Sex Pistols series. As a kid at the time I’ve no idea how much it veers from the truth, but l’ll certainly keep watching as it seems to be bounding along at a rollicking pace.

Really enjoyed the new episode of The Orville. After the first two seasons opened with iffy comedy before moving into TNG territory this one just jumps straight into being a serious one with some heavy themes.
I’ve not seen any of Strange New Worlds yet but this has to be the best and most faithful successor to 90s Trek there is. Really looking forward to where they take the rest of the season.

Neat update on a classic Trek trope this week from The Orville. Unless they’re about to stick a full on Family Guy In Space episode next week it feels like they’ve abandoned being a comedy show altogether and have gone all in on being a new branch of Trek

I think they struck a good balance of affectionate pissing taking of ST tropes while doing straight up Trek stories in season 2 but this does feel like a logical progression for the show. Although I hope the humour hasn’t gone for good as its production values and Macfarlane’s face don’t scream serious hard sci-fi and the jokes mostly worked.

Shame the other 2 seasons didn't really live up to that first season. The main character was great, but given her rather dark and depressed nature, she really benefited from having the chemistry with Luke Cage and the energy of David Tennant in the first season. The 2nd and 3rd season basically had everyone be dark and serious and have issues, which made them a lot more hard going at times. It was notable that the episode where david tennant came back was the most fun of the later seasons. I wish they hadn't spun out into so many separate shows. If they'd kept Cage in JJ, and then had the other characters like Misty etc.. cameo in DD and JJ it would have been a lot tighter.

Spiderman, Spiderman 2, Amazing Spiderman, Amazing Spiderman 2 and Spiderman Homecoming all on D+ from tomorrow
Presumably not 3 because of Venom being in it or someone at Disney going hard on quality control

They have some classic movies hidden away on there. One of my favourite movies ever, “Quiz Show”, turned out to be in their catalogue.

Yeah, great show. I'd advise waiting a few weeks before jumping in if you binge stuff. It's only a couple of episodes into S2 at the moment.

Not seen it yet but given it came out in cinemas a couple of months ago I’d assume it’s after season 12. I’m not sure it matters much though.

Only Murders In The Building is a great show if you’ve not seen it. and the episodes are only 30 minutes long. No wasted time or motion and not lacking in any content. The building and setting make me wish it was Christmas too.
