Gave up round about season 5 originally and slightly surprised its made it this far.

The last half of season ten was almost a return to form. The episode with Robert Patrick was fantastic.

I don't know if I can drum up the enthusiasm to carry on with this. Stopped at the point when Rick gets taken away in the choppa , which felt like as good a jumping off point as any really. |

I'll need to try and work out where I stopped watching this if I'm going to pick it up again.
It was before Samantha Morton showed up. Can't remember if I actually got to see Negan's fall from power or not.

The first episode of S11 was actually really good. I think there was a noticeable shift in the midseason break in S10 where they realized things were off-track and they were heading for a Game of Thrones situation.

Watched it up until Carl got bitten , who I found really annoying, so that was a satisfying place to stop for me. I was quite happpy with it I didn't even know it was still on. What series end was that? |

I gave up soon after the face smashing episode. I like misery and things being bleak but not when the story seemed to be going nowhere.
Is there a good season to rejoin from? I’m aware of the lion or tiger season and don’t want it to be that one.

I did zone out after Rick disappeared. I actually just did a recent re watch to catch up and while it has peaks and troughs, it's really good. I think being able to binge it rather than wait weekly for an episode really suits it better.
Strong first episode of the new season anyway.

Sounds like the new show runner managed to turn it around but the previous one had fucked it up so much the show just couldn't bring the fans back.
Stopped watching around S7/8
