It's just the first race, pretty much beta testing the cars under actual race conditions.

You can tell from Max' radio over the race that they didn't expect Ferrari to have anywhere near the race pace they did in the end. They clearly fancied an easy undercut/drive away in the distance job today.

Good race though, plenty of overtaking and it does seem they can race closer together which seems positive. If RB can sort their gremlins out and Merc up their performance a bit we could have a genuine 3 team race with the likes of Hass (loving kmags comeback!) able to compete for big points too. |
